feel free to contact me (or post in the translators forum) for anything relating to using Babel - I do not have the time to lead the working group, but I sure can answer (most) questions; you may have to wait a bit for a reply, depending on my workload though :|

Hi there,
I noticed that in Safari for iOS8 the fields in the module don't change colour when you enter the full shortcode and serial.
I wonder if you can make them to change colour without making the keyboard disappear at the same time.
You may say to use one of the apps, but I understand that they're not properly maintained, so I'm not using them yet.
Bye.

With some older entries (of 2002 design notes), something goes wrong with the shortcode, resulting in "This means that the note was printed at ? for Belgium." (in the report of this note).

Right, this was an unfortunate side effect of the Europa T/T fivers. This has now been fixed in the development version. The change will end up on EBT in the next few days.

Can I also give feedback to EBT users?

Please make sure your email addresses on EBT and on the forum are valid and can receive emails. Please also make sure your inbox is not full. Numerous newsletters and hit notification emails and topic notification emails have bounced in the last few weeks. Some email providers, such as Hotmail (and other MSN sites), free.fr and GMX didn't like that we tried to send email to accounts that had expired. Those expired email addresses will be unsubscribed from the newsletter, so EBT won't try to send the next newsletter to those email addresses in the future.

For EBT, see your Settings page. For the forum, you can check and change your email address from the User Control Panel. You can also review your forum subscriptions.

FWIW, while my e-mail address is valid and active, GMX moved the newsletter into my Spam folder (forum notifications I get just fine). I adapted my settings. :)

avij wrote:For example, when the :note-10: Europa notes will be put into circulation, it is not the Technical working group's (hereafter Tech WG, my group) responsibility to make changes to EBT so they could be entered. That task belongs to the Development WG. The Tech WG's only role in this matter is to grab a copy of the latest program code from the development server and copy it to the actual EBT webserver. I hope the Dev WG has the code ready by 23.9. so it can be deployed.
I have not seen any activity from the Dev WG regarding this, so I had to make the necessary changes myself... sigh. The changes will be published on EBT early tomorrow morning. When that is done, you may need to hit 'reload' in your browser and/or clear the browser's cache to get the new JavaScript code that validates the input.

I know the JavaScript is too permissive in that it shows green even for, for example, 5e X/X notes (which don't exist), but I'll leave fixing that to the Development WG. EBT will do stricter checks once the user presses 'submit', so those 5e X/X notes won't be accepted to EBT.

Sure. The page looks a bit broken now, but it should start working better once there is enough data to be displayed.

This means that the note was printed at Giesecke & Devrient (Germany - Munich) for Germany.
This doesn't make much sense for Europa banknotes. Any objections to removing the latter part for Europa banknotes? This change is going to need a new Babel constant.

From this list, I see that :note-10: E006 X notes have been entered in France 31999 times, and that E006 is the most common plate to be found in France of all :note-10: E00x X notes:
http://leopardi.miuku.net/tmp/denominat ... ountry.txt" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The diffusion chart, however, lists only E002, E003, E004, E005, E007 and E008:
http://de.eurobilltracker.com/diffusion/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (10, France, X, E)
Why not the most common E006?
This cannot be just because it only lists the 6 most common plates, as the R printer chart lists 15 different plates. And 93481 entered :note-10: E006 X notes in EBT aren't that few either.
androl wrote:In the diffusion section, the Spanish 5€ notes don't work. If I click on the Spanish "pie chart piece" of any 5€ or all-values statistics, the second table "Which printers produced notes for this country code?" will not show.

...edit: Belgian notes don't work either :(
still doesn't work :(
