Post by tintin6971 »

Hi,

I just come back from my ATM with a serie  of 14 brand new bills (20 euro) just as printed and 2 ten in the same condition. They are not fake, I keep a scan of it !

Tintin, you really don't need to announce that here. Entering brand new notes, even with consecutive serials, is common and not in the least suspicious.

Don't let the witch hunt that this thread has become at times scare you. Nobody needs to justify the notes he's about to enter.

Since I'm preparing to collect some notes and 'dots' in Central Asia I found this one quite suspicious. Why? Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan 8O

This might go to the wrong location topic.

To the matter regarding brand new notes: remember to enter something in the comment field like "atm" or "brand new" so it's easy for us to notice that those look OK. More information is always better.

Yes. Writing that is important, because that way people are able to prove theirselves unguilty, which is very important with this thread.. :(

Please moderate this hit since it's not interesting.

(Not a fake, unintentional, but still not interesting...)

I can't mail to the support team, since my mail server is down, so I hope this post is enough...

Thank you.

I think it would be totally unnecessary moderation. If the hit was, as you said yourself, not a fake or unintentional, there is no reason to modarate it. And can you speak for the other person as well? Would he want this hit to be moderated?

Because I didn't want to insert that note. It was a mistake (so, not intentional and not a fake). Is this enough? :(
I'd prefer to delete that note from my list, but this is not possible. Could you?

Thanks :)

I think the moderators can arrange that for you, but like imleH I wonder if the other person agrees with moderation too. It is his first hit, i think it would be very sad for him to lose his first hit in this way. Unless he has not problem with it of course.

Is it necessary that he agrees? O_o
Consider this: I would like first of all to remove the note from my list, as I'd never entered it (so, the hit would be non-existant), but if this is not possible... well, I suppose the note is not interesting. He knows why and he must agree. Trust me :D

We will try to avoid this in the future, since with the high (for us :D) number of notes we enter per day, it's becoming "easy" to catch such an "uninteresting hit". And I don't wan't to fill the database with such pseudo-fake entries... I'm quite a "purist" :D

Hope this satisfies all your doubts ;)

(BTW, have you ever seen someone so interested to LOSE a note and even an HIT? :D no reason other than keeping the "game" clear and funny)

Why was this hit removed? It was a note I had stamped, so I would say that is a genuine hit...
If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
