Well, blaming someone ist not mine, this shall be nothing else than a little informative "We know it, too"
which also "counterfeit" the serials of hits, such a public number will maybe cause.
For example, thats how I think such an entry could look like:
User Entered Date Location Comment
PUBLIC SERIAL NUMBERS 2005-06-15 13:14:40 Euro-catalogue XY 00000 This bill appears in the catalogue XY
So if the entry was made with using this resource, the user will maybe feel a little
and probably not use this way again.
If something happen in the way you mentioned about Wally, the user will just learn that there was something wrong with the numbers s/he was supplied with
But if s/he really got this note (what of course is possible when existing notes are displayed somewhere), it probably even feels cool to get such a "celebrity" in the hands

The better way would be an automoderation of this kind of hits but it is not an important problem.

Apologies for nitpicking but some language errors alter the meaning. The following one is particularly annoying because a number of other users have started to copy the highly ambiguous use of the word "serial".

Of course they enter serials. We all do.
"Serial" is an adjective in the first place, meaning: "belonging to a series". It can be made into a noun; a well-known
dictionary explains its meaning:
serial (noun)
1 a : a work appearing (as in a magazine or on television) in parts at intervals b : one part of a serial work : synonym to "installment"
2 : a publication (as a newspaper or journal) issued as one of a consecutively numbered and indefinitely continued
Neither applies really for our purposes.
However, the noun "serial" is most commonly used as abbreviation for "serial number". Obviously entering serials (=serial numbers) is a major way to use EBT. The problem Ralf is trying to point out is that some users invent large
series (!) of consecutive serial numbers.
It is of vital importance to
1) either
not omit the word
consecutive, which indicates the issue,
2) or to use the word
series instead of serials.

It's getting ridiculous and it makes also me look like a faker! I'm the victim here. Suffering from a bastard that somehow managed to come up with few of my serials!

I guess so to. It's very hard to predict how fast a www'ed gets entered. Sometimes it takes years and sometimes days. I'm not saying they're cheaters. Maybe buddies though - or not. Hard to say. But if it becomes soon a quadruple in the same city, then I find it suspicious.
For the case of and all his fake accounts: It's supposed that he reads this forum and gets some "kicks" out of us svearing him. It's obvious he has no life and he's a loser, but the best way to get rid of him is to ignore him. His fake hits will be moderated and removed. All his accounts will be closed. And hopefully all the email addresses used will be banned permanently. I'm sure event such a big Loser doesn't have the interesting to keep on doing for eternity. It's a matter of weeks that our Loser cracks and removes to some other loser activities.
So never mind him! He's a mega loser and we all know it now. No need to mention such a loser ever anymore.

He's indeed a pain in the butt, but don't worry - on the long run it takes us less time to close his accounts and delete his fake notes than it takes him to bother us.
@Joerg: When posting lists of suspicious notes it would be very helpful to summarize WHY you doubt them. I'm not the number cruncher guru as some of our members, to me those M/U and V/M combinations look valid.
The same goes for Fons and all other members. We highly value your input and guard you keep over the database, but don't make our work more difficult than it already is.
As for other news...
I deleted most entries of rennny moniz (6914/7301 notes) a few days ago. El_motedura is still being looked at, and his/her case will take a longer time to consider.
Unfortunately I'm very very busy with my studies at the moment, so the rest of the complaints will have to wait a little longer.

As portuguese I dislike this situation of so many fakers in the country so I give a sugestion. el_motedura, our number two user, just inserted several non-consecutive bills.
