Just for the case, that somebody has doubts about my entered :note-500: notes. Don't worry, I had the bills for a short time in my hands and entered them quickly. :)

I will enter over 200 brandnew bankotes from the central bank (:note-5: F/N and :note-10: N/Y). On first sight they have consective serials.

As it has been discussed before, there is absolutely no need to tell about every brand new consecutive note you're about to enter in here. It is completely normal to get a bundle of brand new notes from the bank, your work or ATMs for example, no matter the denomination or the amount. It's just that some people are getting suspicious thoughts about some other people entering consecutive notes, who often are well-known serialists.

It would be best if the comment field was used more often. You don't need a lot of time to use it, just write for example "Bank X" or "ATM at street X" in the comment field and then copy-paste (no, in this case it does not make waste!) the comment to every note.

I read this topic only from time to time. My impression is that one gets under suspicion too quickly. I don't want people talking about me without even noticing it. That's the reason why I posted this message in advance.

It is sad enough that users feel the need to justify themselves.

I don't read 183 pages in order to find out if I may post a message. Wouldn't it be good to post rules/faq's on page one and mention that in the title?

@magpie: I guess the well know forum members (such as you) are pretty safe from these accusions. But if very new users enter houndreds of consecutive serials, it's always a bit alarming. At least if there's nothing information in the comment field.

Yes, you can get this impression from reading this thread. But then again, if everyone who enters brand new notes notified about that here, we would have a hundred messages per day. Plus the users who never visit the forum, how could those get their message through? On the other hand, there are also so many notes inserted every day that still the minority gets seen through the eyes of a SU&N-thread poster.

Not everyone would read the FAQ anyway. From what I've seen a lot of people still don't even bother to read the netiquette.

The same amount in :note-5: would be much better, but I'm glad that I could use the chance entering those "violet" notes. :P

My two cents: Entering something in the comment field makes sense, not only to avoid getting under suspicion somewhere (Personally, I wouldn't bother much... - remeber de-jo a few weeks ago ) but to make your hits more interesting, for you and for others. It is more interesting to know that the note was in a certain shop/bank etc than just to know it has been in a certain city (esp. when the hit is within that city's borders...) I enter almost all of my notes with a significant comment and as Osku-82 has pointed out it is really easy.

Yes, those 500ers are SOOOO sweet! I had once an easy change of entering around 80 of them, but I blew it! My girlfriend's dad and brother went to buy two cars in Germany and they paid them with cold cash! Think about that pile of 500ers! 8O But I somehow forgot it and they did leave. Only 9 of the 500€ bills returned and I entered them. Ouh how this thing still hurst after one year.

Oh yes that hurts! In year 2002 I was in the same situation (we also bought a car), but I joined EBT just two years later. An Austrian/German proverb says: The time heals all kinds of wounds. :D

Sorry for being off topic.

I have started to use the comment field for nearly every bill. It is - as you say - more interessting for me.

I would like to try this moderated hit http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/index.php ... id=8318389 changed in an interesting hit.
The hit has traveled 22 hours. Venga tolled us (in the dutch forum) that hits less then 24 hours are automaticly moderated.

I see this hit as an real hit. There is no relatoin between me and MM8_NL. There is even no relation between me and Purmerend (the place were MM8_NL found my bill.

I hope someone can return this verry nice hit back to an interesting hit

Thanks

does this user exist or is it a dummy user? (because of his name)
