Maybe the name of the file. Try renaming it to "codes_united states.txt" (thanks yli :wink: ) and see if it works.
Also, have you downloaded the Russian Postcodes file or doesn't it work either?

I think the file might be renamed to codes_united states.txt

just like : «San Marino by yli can be downloaded from here. (change filename to "codes_san marino.txt")»

source : nig site

Hello Bobtail,

first thx for the fun with the NIG-Tool. It's really interesting.

Now I found a little bug in the new Hit dates bingo.

This bug is caused by an Triple-Hit Link

In my Hit days bingo is marked the 3. Jan (Hit for Lissu) and also the 11.Aug (my Hit).
So I have one more day with a hit :wink:

I have put my statistic to my website, and after a friend asked me how i have made this i have seen there is no link to the nig website in the created statistics.
I think it wood be a good promotion if there would be a link to NIG under the "created on xx.xx.xx" sentence on the end of each page or at least on the site "charts"

I think the problem is that UK postal codes use letters and NIG can't handle them.

Vice Versa Users/Cities in hits is not working OK I guess..

If you have two hits like this :

* 2006-05-24 17:58:12 Almelo - Antwerpen FVS - Son928 201 502
* 2006-10-19 13:51:25 Antwerpen - Almelo Elmo - FVS 201 224

You have the town Antwerpen as a vice versa City

If you have two hits like this :

* 2004-08-03 12:12:20 Oosterhout - Almelo ans - FVS 146 107
* 2005-05-13 14:08:51 Almelo - Oosterhout FVS - ans 146 14

You have the user ans as a Vice Versa User..(and in this case also the town Oosterhout)..

In that case "codes_south_africa.txt" will need to be renamed too. I'll work on that right away.

On another note, I've been tinkering with my csv files, and things seem to work properly, except the flag of San Marino, as it is San-Marino.gif, and not San Marino.gif

Where is the Bobtail's Special 30x30? I have already more than 300 of the 900.

As far as I know, NIG gives you a 'dot' for every postal code, so if you have multiple postal codes for one city you get more dots, but if you have multiple cities with the same postal code, you just get one dot.

Yes, that also happend a few times - especially in Belgium and Germany. But also some independent postal codes weren't shown.

Anyway, I have found the missing locations ... and changed my codes_country.txt a bit, to include Dots per Country. And example of what it would look like can be seen here (:flag-be: and :flag-nl: finished - :flag-de: in progress)
