I've got a prepaid number, so I don't know if my provider allows me to use WAP.
But my dad has a 'real' subscription at the same provider, but he can't wap either....
What info do you need to get it to work?
P.S.: I've got a Nokia 6510

EBT WAP is no different than other WAP pages, so once you can see other WAP pages, EBT WAP should be available to you as well.Tiger wrote:What info do you need to get it to work?

At least in my little brothers phone the GPRS settings were entered beforehand so he just selected his provider from menu and the next day it started working. The subscription updated automatically to cover GPRS. I don't know about prepaid subscriptions, btw why are you using one?Tiger wrote:My cellphone supports WAP, but I haven't been able to get it working yet.

That's a heck of a good looking phone, a friend of mine has similar oneTiger wrote: P.S.: I've got a Nokia 6510

Because I don't have enough money for a real subscription.Poutsi wrote:At least in my little brothers phone the GPRS settings were entered beforehand so he just selected his provider from menu and the next day it started working. The screen is pretty small compared to that Motorola phone I sent pics earlier, but it does the job.
Too bad I hadn't any notes to enter

I'd be really surprised if you ran into problems with EBT-WAP using that phone, as the system has been tested and developed with the exact same phone model as yoursSneakster wrote:Last tuesday I entered a couple of notes in EBT's database, worked perfect!

I am also very satisfied with the Bluetooth headset I bought with itavij wrote:I'd be really surprised if you ran into problems with EBT-WAP using that phone, as the system has been tested and developed with the exact same phone model as yoursSneakster wrote:Last tuesday I entered a couple of notes in EBT's database, worked perfect!![]()
I don't have a digicam (at home) but I do have a flatbed scanner. I bought that phone last year, it was actually one of the very few Nokia phones that had Bluetooth and GPRS functionality. There were other phones that were otherwise 'cool', but they didn't have those features. Bluetooth+GPRS is a very nice combination when I'm on the road with my laptop.

Well.. Those mostly work. I can browse the wap with those settings and EBT mostly works, too. But there's no real starting page in the DNA wap. When I connect it just says "The service is temporarily out of order". Luckily I can browse the wap through bookmarks. For some reason DNA customer service doesn't know what wap setting I should use. And besides, the DNA wap is still more expensive than the old Telia wap, which still partially works, because although I'm a DNA customer, the pricing is still (until the first days of September) so, that DNA is considered a different operator and is thus more expensive to call to than Telia is.avij wrote:Continuing from this thread..
I'd appreciate if someone with either
1) Nokia 5510 (the phone with QWERTY keyboard)
or
2) DNA GSM operator could test if the WAP page works.
Please report the phone model and GSM operator used in either case.
Dakkus, are you sure your WAP settings are correct, have you read the instructions ?

Don't let that bother you, the starting page has no special significance. You could put the EBT page as your starting page if you wish.Dakkus wrote:But there's no real starting page in the DNA wap.
It'd most probably work better if you used the same email address that you've put in your EBT settings, now it looks like you're using a different address.Dakkus wrote:But.. In a few months things will probably just start working by theirselves)
