There is a good chance that I will bring someone with me. Count us as 1.5=1 x 100% + 1 x 50%

A nice drive by car. Driving a bit thru Austria and Slovenia and surrounding countries.

Looking forward to see this beautifull country!
It looks like we have the same idea.

I'm be sure to be there (also collecting dots, cities, letters (German Y) and hopefully hits on the way to and from Ljubljana).

EDIT: All weekend.
I'm trying to build my holidays around the EBT-Meeting, so I wanted to start looking for my stay in Ljubljana (I think my stay in Yach especially will need to be reserved in advance).

I thought 'Let's see if there's a youth-hostel in or nearby Ljubljana'.

8O There turn out to be 6 (=six) youth-hostels in the city.

Do you have any idea where we'll meet each other each day (so I can take the one nearest to there)?
Or is the Public Transport that good, you always will be on time on the place (where-ever you'll start from)?

Me and my boyfriend won't be at EBTM08. It it was 1 or 2 weeks earlier we would be theire, but unfortunately that wasn't an option.

That's a shame. You're cool people!

However..
I just had my first day in my new work place today. And of course one of the first things I did was that I asked for a vacation date. My vacation begins on August 20th and ends at August 26th.

Therefore, you've got my word that I'm gonna be in the meeting! Now I only need to plan /how/ I'm going to get there..
SO, anyone driving a car from about my direction to or about to Ljubjana? :)

I think you should put "Olen Omena" into genetive form and "laulaa" into whatever form. Thus:
"Olen omenan laulaminen" ;)

Depends on whether you want to say "thank you" or "thanks" ;)

I don't see much point in using the Finnish flag for me, because I'm not planning to live there at least for several years, possibly not even ever.

In the other hand, many people would disagree if I used the German flag. And anyway, I /will/ be very able to associate with the Finns in the meeting, of course :)

So, therefore.. Here's my flag: Image .

Here's an earlier version, but I don't think it works as well as the final one above: Image

The idea came originally from the flag of Norway, but I then included some features from the Union Jack into it :)

But you can also use this flag: :flag-eu: .

Maybe this Announcement will be a reason for more people to come:
Phaseolus wrote:Please consider these nominations as administrative solutions for the launch of the ES-EBT. Complete elections will take place in Slovenia which will put more democracy in the current system.
(Allthough I think, this may not be the only reason to come).
