I use IRC and MSN.
I prefer the IRC but when I'm in two different servers and have a lot of different conversations I have MSN as suport, with MSN you can see, immediately, who is speaking to you (bright orange button)

What IRC client are you using, then?
Most IRC clients show the channel's name in different color if someone has said something.

Yes, I know, but I prefer tu use with te MSN. Somentimes I'm missing to see if the button of the mIRC is red or not
MSN for me is for a more personal chat

I used to use ICQ a lot, but not anymore. IRC, MSN and e-mail that is nowadays.

I have msn and I like it, but my msn version is 6.2, I don't like the new 7.0.

I have used Irc too, but it doesn´t work anymore

I used mIRC from 1998 to 2003, since then I've been using MSN Messenger.

Now i use more MSN only because of my friends, but no doubt, IRC is the most safe.
