Latvian coins found in circulation OUTSIDE Latvia

It's simbolical and as it was supposed, my first foreign eurocoin after euro's adoption found by me in Lithuanian shops is Latvian coin (5c)

I live some km from Latvian border and many Latvians go here to do their shopping, so nothing unexpected that most of the foreign eurocoins will come to my town from neighbour country.

I just got my very first latvian euro coin in Lithuania - 1€ in my school canteen, Vilnius.

So happy, I'm gonna add it to my 1€ collection

Notice, how different both countries entered into Euro. Latvia has huuuuge quantities of copper cents and even lacked euro coins last autumn, by people's opinion. But situation changed on January 1 - many latvians go shopping to northern lithuanian towns, many lithuanians go to Riga airport and like to visit city with all it's attraction. How long will it take to mix the money? I think, not for long
