2€ Erasmus

"J" as change in a supermarket near Paderborn.
Although I still think, it looks too much like the Dutch 2011 Erasmus coin (the only difference being the "35" on these instead of the face of then queen Beatrix on the Dutch one). Quite an unispired if not to say boring design
Yes, design is very similar. attached is the photo for comparison - 2011 and 2022 versions of Erasmus including full country name and short version of country name. coins are out of circulation, received in the shops

What's the letter of the production site, please ? I'm not sure to see "D" as little letter so I ask you the question.
Thanks for the answer

As already mentioned in the post where I reported the coin (but did not post a picture) I siad that it was "J". It's on the sleeve of Erasmus left arm, close to the hand; a bit difficult to see (and the quality of my picture is not the best

).
But it is the same coin in both posts

.

I've noticed that Germany will mint €0,50 coins for circulation for the first time in 18 years. From what I've noticed, this mintage will be fairly limited across all five mints.
No word on whether Germany will mint €0,01 or €1 or non-CC €2 coins for circulation this year, though.
