Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles

Yes, opalon, it's a VERY BIG problem ! How is it possible to contact an EBTer if you don't have access to the whole Database (email address included) ? Other thing, indeed : for me, it's NOT a fault to introduce Mons and not Cuesmes...But if the zip code is correct (and only "loupseul" can confirm that...), this Hit would be a "Cuesmes" Hit and not a "Mons" Hit. I will replace the file into the "Cuesmes" city - even if the encoding are correct.

I think we an assume safely that the more was found in Cuesmes.

you've already got the answer to this kind of problem:

It's correct, but only "loupseul" can update the informations (because there's an unknown data here) : where has he really found the involved note ? In Mons ? (So, the zip code must be changed) OR in Cuesmes ? (So, the city must be changed). I am NOT "loupseul" and I can NOT change the wrong data at his place.

Only the tracker who entered the note can change this entry because only the tracker knows where she/he got the note. We have to live with such wrong entries.

Thanks tigerpranke for answering to opalon... For your information, "Volc18" introduces ALL their notes with this postal code AND this name of city...which is correct, in fact !

I suggest:

When the "code postal" is WRONG and the CORRECT "location" => go to the LOCATION
When the "code postal" is CORRECT and the "location" is WRONG => go to the CODE POSTAL

The postal code and location do not match. How do you know which one is correct, and which one is wrong?

For me, but it's just my opinion, encoding a note with "5004 Namur" as city is correct.

5004 Namur isn't correct for entering notes, because you don't enter the notes with the name of the municipality but the city/village.
Other city profiles with the names of the municipality has been split when possible. Too bad if the postcode is the same for the entire municipality: than it's not obvious which city/village was meant (and you get an extra city profile within the municipality).
If this is handled like the other cities/villages, 5004 Namur should automatically be redirected to 5004 Bouge.
If this user actually meant Namur (with postcode 5000) he'll see it when he's looking at his statistics and will change them (or ask how to change them).

5003 Saint-Marc
5004 Bouge

Only Beez can't be recovered like this, because it has the same postcode as the city of Namur (5000).

I don't know if my request is in the good part of this forum.

So when I show the note from this city : 87 notes are insert in this city. But when I show the "vistors of this city". When I add 83 + 2 = 85 notes. Where are there 2 notes? "in the cloud"
