Re: EBTST - EBT stats tool

It seems that up to now I'm the only one who updated EBTST stats with new Europa series notes.

I tried a few minutes ago, after empted my cache.dserrano5 wrote:@giulcenc, still seeing that? Yours is the only report I received regarding this.dserrano5 wrote:That's the gibberish I mentioned. Since you seem to have uploaded the hits CSV, I guess there's some work to do.giulcenc wrote:Strange bug in my hit-regions page
Ah, that's good to know. Thanks for the further explanation.giulcenc wrote:When I click on the javascript button (NOT in public stats) it's all ok.
But after create the public stas, the bug is there again.
Code: Select all
13 S001;SB
87 S001;SC
100 S003;SB
1 U002;UB
68 U003;UB
2 V004;VAFrom this end I'm seeing that you have indeed a bunch of wrong Europa notes, and they are wrong because they are from 2002, ie from the original series. That's why they fail in the serial number too (because of the second letter). In the CSV you downloaded from EBT, you'll be able to see the year. If it's 2002, then it's a bug in EBT as far as I understand. Could you please check your CSV file?AKVS wrote:Strangely out of the 175 notes with short code Z003H4 62 does appear in the list of errors??!!
Hi, I might have a part of the explanation for the problem.dserrano5 wrote:From this end I'm seeing that you have indeed a bunch of wrong Europa notes, and they are wrong because they are from 2002, ie from the original series. Edit: no, your CSV seems to be fine. It's an EBTST problem.
Edit edit re-edit galore: yes, there are some Europas from 2013 and some others from 2002. You seem to have inserted a bunch of 25 notes yesterday at 16:19:35, 23 of which have "2002" in the year field. They are consecutive with the same short code, so I can't think of any possible cause for this. I'm checking with Avij as I write this.
Third edit: confirmed by Avij, he'll look into it.
This was a good hypothesis. Avij has corrected it. If you download the CSV from EBT it should be ok now.AKVS wrote:Hi, I might have a part of the explanation for the problem.
Yesterday I was so eager to enter the notes that I was not attentive to the correctness of the entry. […] I did correct manually the locations to Bruxelles 1000.
Could it be that it's the notes manually corrected that have jumped somehow to 2002 category???
Furthermore, you, dserrano, should superedit your edit edit re-edit galore. All Europas are from 2013.dserrano5 wrote:This was a good hypothesis. Avij has corrected it. If you download the CSV from EBT it should be ok now.
Ah yes, that sentence was scoped to AKVS' CSV only. I've redacted it, thanks.lmviterbo wrote:Furthermore, you, dserrano, should superedit your edit edit re-edit galore. All Europas are from 2013.

There are now 1915 Europa notes from 9 users in EBTST. Keep'em coming!
Not as a new list/table but integrated with the rest of the Draghi notes in the combinations sections. Initially I was going to ignore these new combinations but (insert long and boring explanation here). I've just made this change for newly uploaded CSV files (still buggy, ie V/V is missing for instance).fcbruges wrote:Dserrano5, could you add a new list of all countrycode/ printercode combinations for the new 5 inserted using EBTST (like your list above)?
Unfortunately that's out of the scope of the application. However I don't think there will be a public outcry if I offer you some aggregated data manually. We can talk about the details via PM. I'm all for sharing data if users aren't opposed.fcbruges wrote:Is there a way to make such a list myself, using the EBTST-data (compare it to the eurotracer search-engine)?
It depends on how much information you give to others and how much you know those others.dserrano5 wrote:We can talk about the details via PM. I'm all for sharing data if users aren't opposed.
I think that, if you want such data, you should open a new topic requesting all users to give their own stats on this.lmviterbo wrote:It depends on how much information you give to others and how much you know those others.dserrano5 wrote:We can talk about the details via PM. I happen to know some Portuguese users who don't use EBTST because they don't want yet another person to have access to loads of data; their reasoning is that, although they have no reasons to question your integrity, they're afraid EBTST's data might not be as well protected as EBT itself.
Using an STD metaphor, I decided to "go unprotected" with you, dserrano, but I wouldn't like you to "go unprotected" with other people.
