That €2 coin commemorates the 2500th anniversary of the Battle of Marathon. No idea when it comes out, but the planned volume is 2.5 million.

Got this today as a change from supermarket in Le Mans

This morning also in Le Mans I received as a change from hotel reception a Belgian CC 2010 (Presidency of the council of the EU) coin.
And this happened after I got a 10 baht coin from Thailand but luckily I noticed that immediately and it was changed to this CC coin. Lucky me
