H007H3 /L214**** note today, Duis naturally. Not in mint condition, but seemed so freaking rare I just had to put it aside. At least for a while

Those are rarer than chickenteeth, as far as I currently am aware of, that specimen of yours ought to be the 4th known specimen that is still existing

Pretty sure I've seen a few more auctioned lately, however can't say anything for a fact as I haven't paid that much attention on auctions. But yea, not like it really matters are there 4, 14 or 40 specimens out there, it's still rarer than chickenteeth. Also took pics of the note jsut for the sake of doing so, after all the note is not something you see every day.

An unexpected

In relatively good shape.
It's the second one only, in my EBT History,
and the 1st one was 5 1/2 years ago, in september 2008

Congratulations philgelico! I don't know about the situation in France, but considering that there aren't a lot of old design

any more it is a very, very rare note (and I think it has been quite rare without the Europa-notes being in circulation). If I were you, I would keep the note in any case.
Nice find though

.
I only found one on Malta in September 2013 which came into my collection.

Yes, really amazing!
I presume, the covered digits in the middle are not the same. Otherwise this would be a perfect RADAR-note

100% right, ErGo
For

"ZB"-notes it's only possible to have a perfect RADAR with ZB6666666666.
The next perfect RADAR-notes, with possibly future letters' combinations, would be ZC5555555555, ZD4444444444, ZE3333333333, ZF2222222222.
PS : this present note isn't UNC but in very good state.

Managed to find a 500 euro note from Ireland (T-code) at work. I've gone through tens of thousands of 500 euro notes and so far this is the first one I've found. It's circulated and far from mint (even though not taped together or such) so the value at markets wouldn't be at the top category. Pretty sure I'll acquire it for the face value and just keep it in my collection, seeing those seem rarer than... Well, something.
Gotta admit it was a rather weird feeling to find one when going through a pile normally. One of the moments when you knew what you saw, yet it was impossible to believe it at first.
