It has been reported to contact@ebt that the link to codes_slovenia.txt is broken.

yli wrote:I have created some extra stats for Germany :

Kreisfreien Städten, Kreisangehörige Städte und Gemeinde Nordrhein-Westfalen
(:flag-uk: cities and municipalities of Nordrhein-Westfalen)

(there are 395 of those)

Just copy/paste the data into codes_germany.txt

I might do other Bundesländer as well :wink:
I also had quiet some work with Niedersachsen (1022 cities and municiplaities).

Luckely Saarland isn't that big..... Thanks to ElBarto this Bundesland is also fixed.

Next project might be Rheinland-Pfalz

I'm one of this.
This week I Tried to download CVS-files from one other computer that is still in IE6 version ... and there is no trouble in this case.

So my question is now a little different : Is there any trouble between eurobilltacker export database and IE7 ?

It works fine with me. I use IE7 for some months now.
I created my stats 2 or 3 times during this period.

Maybe a bug in the French version ?

Also no problems here. I use IE7 in combination with Vista (just to annoy all linux and firefox freaks :twisted: )

Are there mode DUTCH city lists ?
On the NIG site I can't find the city codes for Amsterdam for example.

Unfortinatly there is still an old version of codes_germany.txt (with 443 instead of 439 Landkreisen and Kreisfreie Städten).

Well, in july of this year the total number of Landkreisen and Kreisfreie Städten in Germany will decrease, due to a Kreisreform in the Bundesland of Sachsen-Anhalt.

here is my current codes_germany.txt with 439 Landkreisen and Kreisfreie Städten - and Municipalties/Cities of Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen and Saarland

I don't know if the original codes_germany.txt also contains the same mistakes (like in the codes_germany.txt of NIG 1.61), but in this one they still are (they're links to pictures of the flags of the Länder):
SubGroup=<img srchttp://img375.imageshack.us/img375/892/01schleswigholstein9qs.gif> Schleswig-Holstein
should be:
SubGroup=<img src http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/892/ ... ein9qs.gif> Schleswig-Holstein
SubGroup=<img srchttp://img375.imageshack.us/img375/6370/01thringen2yo.gif> Freistaat Thüringen
the same:
SubGroup=<img src http://img375.imageshack.us/img375/6370 ... gen2yo.gif> Freistaat Thüringen
When you are changing the codes_germany.txt, you can change these also.

Now this no longer happens, when I display my stats with the NIG tool I have
El prat de llobregat - 100 (1,3 %)
El Prat De Llobregat - 3 (0,0 %)
El Prat de Llobregat - 2 (0,0 %)
This is a problem of the NIG tool, not of EBT. It should be possible for the NIG tool to ignore different forms of capitalisation - after all, EBT is capable of identifying the strings "El prat de llobregat", "El Prat De Llobregat", "El Prat de Llobregat" as identical. Ok, EBT can what MySQL can (as I understand it), and NIG is not using MySQL but something else, but if Bobtail is asked nicely enough and often enough she will probably implement this change.

This problem has been pointed out numerous times also in mails to contact@ebt - people wanted to have their entries "corrected" to the wrong form, i.e., "El prat de llobregat" in this example. As far as I'm concerned this kind of change would never happen because EBT finally accepts the right form, and all problems that arise from it are with NIG or some other sort of external software. People were referred to the NIG thread but apparently either didn't lobby there at all, or not sufficiently.
On this particular occasion, nobody bothered mentioning the issue in the NIG thread at all...
Thanks Gauss for your answer on the other thread (Avij & Nerzhul's to do list). I would therefore like to ask Bobtail nicely if this is a possibility? :wink:
I'm sure it would be very appreciated by many users.
