İstanbul (Constantinopolis mediaevalis during the Byzantine Empire)

• Not exactly paper money. Byzantine currency consisted of coins, namely the gold solidus.
• Not exactly my turn either, but I guess nobody was able to find security printing facilities or paper mills on a city starting with the letter I. At least I searched extensively, to no avail.

Indonesian banknotes are produced in the Peruri branch near Karawang, in Parungmulya to be precise (source). I am not entirely sure but I think that no security printing has ever been in Jakarta.

So, here is another J, and a new K (because even Karawang wouldn't be right).
