Congratulations leofer40,

Your just a little higher with my L035G1.

But are you sure. With me U149 is not a L035, but L033. Can somebody shed a light on it?

20;2002;U149;sncf;2005-06-07 15:08:15;Toulouse;France;31000;L033G2
20;2002;U149;marleentaria;2005-08-11 23:07:32;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L031G2
20;2002;U149;akerk;2005-12-01 20:38:40;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L033G2
20;2002;U149;stamcafe;2005-12-11 21:50:44;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L033G2
20;2002;U149;marleentaria;2005-12-20 22:50:59;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L033G2
20;2002;U149;zeeheld;2005-12-30 17:00:59;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L033G2

L035G1 is this banknote:
20;2002;U079;ah;2005-12-17 13:38:42;Groningen;Netherlands;9727;L035G1

A difference of L035G1 (U079) to L035G2 (U149). Is that possible?

@Kleman: the total shortcode. Do you have a high one?

All the numbers/ letters except for the first one. The note above, for example:

L035G2

is higher than

L026G1

but lower than

L035G4

Hope that makes sense?

Last Friday I found this note:

:note-10: N010G5 ( Y096***)

It should be a new highest short code
"sö questa vita che vìvum de sfroos,
sö questa vita che sògnum de sfroos,
in questa nòcc che prègum de sfroos."

As far as I know, the first 2 numbers are not that important for the french notes. So then I have for L033 U**93 and U**94 and for L034 U**97. I don't have any L035 notes but this should probably be U**98 or U**99.

No. They are important.

You're right here: L035 notes but this should probably be U**98 or U**99.

But the first two characters of a U (french) note are in correspondance with last two characters of shortcode.
case 20 € note:

LxxxA1 U01xx
LxxxB1 U02xx

LxxxG1 U07xx
LxxxG2 U14xx

LxxxG4 U28xx

L035A1 ====>>> U0198 or U0199
L035G1 ====>>> U0798 or U0799
L035G2 ====>>> U1498 or U1499
L035G4 ====>>> U2898 or U2899

Maybe we shouldn't give any hints for dishonest users about coding systems :roll:

I don't think F008s have been printed yet, but even if they have, the 3rd digit of the serial should definitely be higher than zero then.

I think this one is probably a F003.
