BTW, here's how the "new" flag would look like, in EBT size:

Why not make a circle of stars around it, every star a little bit higher then the innercircle, and on a place between the other two. And if I count it well, you have one star left, and you should put that one big in the middle, like all nations, one world!!! Nice slogan: Europe, many nations, one world (buy Pepsi!)

Keep the stars without the stripes! Don't change the current flag!

Let's just keep the flag we have. OK, the blue is awfull, but the concept behind the flag is nice.

I like the flag as he is, but the number of stars are not anymore reflecting the number of nations in the EU.

Maybe we should also have a stars & stripes flag (or is that too much ).

Hey, we're not Americans, so why should we need an American-type of flag?
And 12 doesn't indicate the number of member states, so why change the number of stars?

Sorry, you're right. I always was under the impression that, when creating the flag, the starts stood for the 12 states of the eu. The number 12 represents perfection and unity according to this site

In that case I like the flag even more, and it shouldn't be changed.

I like our actual flag!!

I found out about this only a few months ago and I really have liked the flag since then. But after 1995, when Sweden, Finland and Austria joined the EU, I saw some EU flags with 15 stars...

Thats terrible I would say, too. The old flag is better, but not my favourite flag. Black-Red-Gold is best from colors

I'd like to see what that flag would look like with the 10 new flags included :D

Useless changes, proposals introducing obscene alternative hypotheses...
