maybe it has already been mentioned, but it would be nice to do hitsearch on a user, so you would see all the hits of that user. p.ex. see all hits of bhoeyb, see all hits of Ans etc ...

Maybe it is also nice for the future to do the same as now but than for referrals.
Like this:
International rank : 150
National rank : 32
City rank : 1

Total referrals: 135
Referral rank: 9

I think that just a referers ranking would be useful

I just wonder, but why these code-experts like Nerzhul (creator of the EBT tool) won't take part in developing the EBT site itself? I think these guys are tusted enough and the realy have the skills needed! And the will to help EBT! So why make several "third party softwares" instead of improving the EBT site itself!?

Or have Avij wanted to develope this site just by himself?

Please, don't feel offended. I'm just asking. :?:

--- And same thing in finnish ---

I fully agree on this item ..

In this case you could easilly see if a user with 12 hits has 8 or 9 out of 12 with the same other user..
Now , it is possible to check hit by hit and you know the people a little , but we´re getting bigger and bigger..
If you can't solve it it's not a problem..

By the way.. I am happy to have opened this topic..
It seems many many people have their ideas regarding EBT , and to discuss it is always OK i guess..

IBrowse internet browser isn't supported too well in EBT.
The site works otherwise fine, but when I try entering new notes with the advanced form, the computer gives me a Guru Meditation..
The Guru seems to go Meditating because of the colour change in the advanced form. I was able to insert the note via the simple form, but would like to be able to use the advanced one also from Oranssi, where they use Amiga. So.. could you please remove the color changing script when the broser is IBrowser? :)

(And yes, this message _was_ written on AmigaOS 4/PPC :))

Would it be a bad idea if moderation could get rid of all the "users" that haven't entered any bills at all? Of course there needs to be a time limit of some kind, like a year or 6 months...

I think that zero-note -users are kind of a dead weight, messing up statistics (in-town for example).

This has been discussed before and the official opinion is that no one will be deleted. There's always a possibility that a user becomes active after receiving a Newsletter for example. I don't know what to think about this issue. I know there's thousands of them and it makes statistics look wrong, but still I would at least like to believe that someone every now and then become active because of this.

Then we should write a newsletter, wait for a month or so and then delete users not active over the past six or 12 months.

What is the status of the newsletter?

But what should we write at the upper right corner @ EBT

Value .: 94730875 €
Users .: 37324
Notes .: 4045675
Interesting hits .: 4564
Total hits .: 9785

................???

In some forums users wrote things like: '35.000 users', or 'almost 40.000' users.
If we starting to delete '0-notes-users', we're getting a much lower amount of users. (!)

That's right, but what good are users that just register and never enter a single note? Are they 'using' the site at all?

My suggestion would be to exclude those 0-note-users from the statistics, but keep their accounts. There's always the possibility that someone returns to the site after some time.
