We were @home yesterday 23:15, and now I am already at my desk, therefore I had to get up at 5.30am. So I am a bit tired but I am already looking forward for the next meeting.

I didn't think of cycling ! Again after twenty years !

it was rosenheim in bayern so im not sure North Rhine-Westphalia will get that mony ( and like 1 bridge out of 2 i drive across in Germany was under construction so they have put my 100 euro to good use )

First of all: it was a bit satirical. Well, Bavaria has more money, than North Rhine-Westphalia, so they should be fine without your money. My grandparents live in North Rhine-Westphalia (abbreviation: NRW), so I see that many bridges there are under construction, or I have heard that many bridges in the Rhineland are closed for lorries. So they have to decide on which side of the Rhine they need to ride, before approaching Cologne. And that was, what I wanted to say. Those bridges are rather old, and the NRW government cannot afford maintenance at a large scale, due to budget problems in the last decades (and a large number of those bridges were all built in the same years, so maintenance dates will fall together as well, and then you need money you don`t have). So, avoiding the costs of a full maintenance it is all the same: closing it for lorries, setting down speed limits, closing lanes for cars etc. And in the meantime the federal government in Berlin might have given money for the maintenance of streets and bridges.

I would also like to thank the organizers (also those who couldn't attend the meeting themselves) for organizing such a marvellous meeting. Can't wait to meet you again in the next meeting.

I'm currently at the Schiphol airport waiting for my flight back home. I left Rotterdam at around noon for a quick dothunting trip by train. First to Gouda, then on to Utrecht. I haven't entered the notes yet, but with those two cities my dot count for this trip should be five. That's a reasonable amount of dots for an EBTM trip, I think.

You will hardly believe it, but it just rained in The Hague.

The weather forecasts tell us it will be about 21 degrees the next days. So we were very lucky this weekend .

gergapsek and klaasklever are on their way home. I drove them in the morning to the Düsseldorf Airport "DUS". They stayed here in Kempen for 2 days with sightseeing of the "Niederrhein" and filled up there Dotmap
But - to travel with them is a little bit adventurous. In Kranenburg the "Bundespolizei" stopped us for a little drug control! YEAH - 1st time in my life... - That happen when you drive with suspicious people like those both guys in the near of the netherlands border

But I wasn't arrested - so now I have time and chance to say:
