Is this possible because there are only 3 such notes in the database?

Remember that L035 was U**
99? For the L-printer the first two digits
varied from 01 to 28, and now that they are full, they now go on with 29-56
as first two digits! They should be aware of the E-printed bills with 29-54 as
first digits...

Oke I think I made a typo

Do I have to send a mail to someone to change the shortcode of this note?

Already (or is it allready) 3 times the G023H5. This replaces my G023H4. They are the P0158, P160 and P161. There from 5, 9 and 17th of February 2006. All in the city of Groningen.

So is the L037 note correct?

Absolutely!
arjan, is the next digit after U340 one of 4, 5, or 6?

And I really bet you that L printer does not know of it and perhaps in 2008 they will start printing U[29-54][39-41] (~L049) ... again

I think it's better to take the first 5 or 6, than only the first three numbers of the serial number. So you can better see the running number at the serial-numbers, e.g for notes in Belgium.

The P0158 is probably a typo, I guess it should be P1508 or P1580...

OK, so maybe a hit on that banknote will never occur.

For what it's worth, I just got a new L035 which is U48
00....
So now for L035 I've seen U**98, U**99, and U**00 ! ... I thought they would go to L036 when they flipped over to **00, but looks like the flip occurred within L035.
