btw: what about Ħaż-Żebbuġ ? this is the official name of the city-profile though ewri has used only zebbug. i've got also 's-Hertogenbosch which has also kind of funny letter.

Policy has always been that the letter used in the hit counts - which rules out Ħ, Ż etc. as long as ewri (and other Maltese trackers) don't use them.

Well, this would either be ' which isn't a letter at all and so not eligible, or s, which is just a normal letter, or (from the way the Dutch order names like this alphabetically) H, also just a normal letter. If 's had a Unicode character, then it would indeed be a funny letter and count here.
