Incorrect dots and inaccuracies among city profiles

I thought that the cities I was retrieving from the eurobilltracker API ere the profile cities as you create them. But you are right, I should better read the documentation…

Please note that this method operates on location data as entered by the user. E.g. if you enter notes from Wien, Austria and Vienna, Austria these notes will both be subsumed under the official city profile but both locations will show up in the data returned by this method.

Unfortunatly there is no way to get the city profile associated with the name entered that would be too easy…

Thank You, I moved all to the M'bour department, but I keep the three different profiles because Kirène and Ndiass are seperate towns

During october 2023, I've visited Sardegna (What a beautiful island !:)
And naturally, I tried to make a Dothunting trip there.
During this trip, I've visited 5 Provinces :
And I've remarked something.
When I display Sardegna's profile, it's written that this Region has 8 provinces,
But when I display Sardegna's details, it appears that only 5 provinces have been visited.
Is there an error somewhere ?
8 or 5 ?
Perhaps the number of Provinces has changed during the time, with fusion of some Provinces, it's possible.
Please can you inform me, and correct it ?

That's correct. The number of Province in Sardegna was once 8 and then has been reduced to 5 (4 of the 8 were deleted and 1 new was created).
All the cities have been moved to the correct new province, but the old, no more existing, ones are still in the database. They are empty but they are there.
They should be cancelled but I have not the tools to do that.

I believe I do have the credentials to reassign all city profiles that are now in old extinct provinces to new ones.

However, it's a lengthy process, and requires very careful management, and I have absolutely no time this week to do it. (Also: I am not completely sure how the process works, what steps are needed, and in complete honesty if I really can do it at all.)

If someone else doesn't step up and does it soon, please pm me next week to remind me.

The city profiles should have been all correctly located. What remained to do was the deletion of the empty provinces, but now it seems done.
