I'm not sure if this is the information you're looking for, but I found this in the "Information" tab of the search function:
Information wrote:We don't display profiles with zero notes entered or which have been inactive for more than a year.
The first part seems to apply to users, but maybe the second part could also affect which cities are visible?

There's a 365 day limit on a number of things on the site - inactive users and "inactive" towns become unsearchable after one year of inactivity. Also, "inactive" places from your own location lists disappear from there after a year of inactivity.

Some relevant forum quotes:
lmviterbo wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2019 4:58 pm I didn't know about users. I knew the same applies for cities.
Montgomery Burns wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2019 2:15 am Indeed, I, too, also knew about that regarding names of places. I learned about it in this thread. If that post is to be believed, then the cut-off period is one year. Interesting to hear about how it also applies to usernames! :o

Montgomery Burns wrote: Mon Apr 26, 2021 2:18 pm Noticed about a week ago that choosing between "Top locations" and "Last locations" doesn't change the locations list ("stuck" on last locations). I feel this could be a "clear your cache" problem, which I haven't done, but I can say I'm getting the issue on two different browsers.
Have you considered the possibility of those two lists actually being the same? Note that the "top 10 locations" counts only locations used in the last 365 days, unless that query returns less than 10 rows, in which case the 365 days limit is dropped entirely. Maybe you haven't travelled much lately?

EBT was transferred to a new server last night. It was not just a matter transferring the files to the new server and changing DNS entries, but various changes/fixes needed to be done to EBT's PHP code so that it would work with the new version of PHP. It is possible that there are still some things that need fixing. Please let me know if you run into problems.

Currently known issues (will be edited to reflect the newest findings / implemented fixes):
  • Flags in city manager
Last note on the old server: https://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=232354644 (2023-11-17 01:00:06 CET)
First note on the new server: https://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=232354645 (2023-11-17 05:30:09 CET)
==> downtime was 4 h 30 min.

Note that the forum is still running on the old server. It too will be transferred to the new server in the next few days.

Please note that from the menu: Notes > Last days/months/years statistics are not more available, in every language or browser. Could you please fix it? Thank you!

I see hits that appear without the tracks on the map; see for instance https://eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=232353974

Note location map (for single notes) is empty.

EBT was transferred to a new server last night.

There are some known issues at the moment, including the dotmaps one. Please read avij's report just a few posts above.

The maps should work now. I'll work on other reported issues now.

From "statistics -> users", the "last days" page works fine, but if you select "last months" or "last years" it continues to show the "days" data.
I take this opportunity to ask if it was possible to correct the flags associated with some combinations (e.g. E/E, F/F)

Issue (sorry if this is already reported):

When you click on the maps (in order to see the maps on Google), these "engine=gmb" are empty pages. I think this has happened a few days ago, before the new server.
