Yes. Maltese zips are matched exactly and, if no match is found, then the first 3 letters are matched again. As you can see, ZBG is defined.

Actually, there are no zip codes at all in those countries...

Do I interpret the chart badly perhaps, because in "Regions of the Hit" I see you list besides Italy, only Germany? I have also had some hits with Portugal - Finland - Austria - Spain

I think it is better to remove the new Trichet Z002/Z note from the combination bingo list since they are not official notes. See Bert Hoeyberghs posting in Facebook EuroBillTracker group from 2nd June 2014 10:41:

It is a test note that was not supposed to get into circulation. It is a ZA serialnumber and has Trichet signature. The NBB says it doesn't have the face value of 5 Euros

and

NBB registers every serial of it's testing notes (Z002 ZA) so they know who has received which notes for testing their machines. After testing, test notes are collected by NBB, registered again and destroyed. No ZA testing notes were reported missing/stolen (like EU 10€ in Germany last month). But mine slipped somehow thrue their quality control system. That's why NBB is so interested.
No other ZA's are found and the chance to find another one is much more smaller than winning Euromillions.

In my opinion, if Bert could find one of those bills in an ATM, then they do exist. Regardless of what the Monetary Authorities could say, they are circulating and universally accepted because -appart from us- nobody will care about the note's printer code or the signature.

Are those notes as difficult to find as a chicken's tooth? Probably yes. But old printed notes (and its combinations) are now as freaking hard to find, and new EBT-users do not complain about that.

Re: "not all :note-5:s are counted in the Countries section", I looked into this now. There's an explicit filter to leave Europas out since technically they don't have a country code (their first letter is merely a copy of the printer code). So I would be inclined to leave it as it is now. This means than later this year the column for the :note-10:s won't show all notes as well.
