I can tell that Angers being such a small EBT town really "angers" you
Sorry, couldn't resist!
I got a self-hit a while back too...I vented my frustration earlier on in this thread!

Hi all,
my very first hit today was also a boomerang: Got a EUR 10 note as change in a Chinese restaurant in Kerpen, Germany. Not been there for quite a while so at least in Kerpen, notes *do* travel.
I sent e-mail to the moderators as suggested to enter a comment on this. Would be nice if I could do this myself.
Cheers, tralla.

Re: Self hit
Too bad. Sorry.
But still this makes the note even more interesting. The very idea of tracking euro notes is to know where they come from and where they are going to. Now we know the note stayed there on your island for such a long time. Collecting hits for the purpose of scoring is not that interesting I think. Yes I know it's too easy for a Finn to say so, but still. It's a question of point of view. Every note that you enter in EBT is a potential present to a fellow ebter that you don't know. You are located in one of the best places on earth to give these potential presents. Go on, MOMO.
And you should be happy with this boomerang. There are not so many notes in circulation with such an amazing history. What I am looking for in EBT is the micro history of notes. This special note of yours will surely be found somewhere again sooner or later - or not. Still it's a note worth mentioning on the forum and it has already been documented in the history of EBT.
I wish someday I will have a hit with you. I like islands as I'm a some kind of sailor myself.
Yours,
P w enpen
EDIT: bumerang -> boomerang. Actually I personally like the word 'bum - era - ng' more. The current word in Finnish is 'bumerangi'. In Finnish language we don't use letter 'g' much with the exception of genitive form like 'of Helsinki' as 'Helsingin'. If the word was adopted in Finnish 100 years earlier, it would have been 'bumeranki' ever since, if more than 200 years ago, it would have obviously been 'pumerankki'. I'm not a specialist in Finnish language so would you, Dakkus or someone, be so kind and tell us more and let us know these speculations are scientifically speaking all in vain, but fun.
