It seems the page saves the used url as a cookie? That has the disadvantage that if I enter a different url, or something wrong, it will be saved and I have to find out the correct url /img/billmap.png again until I can see the map again.

For precisely that reason there's a button labeled "Default" which resets the image to the default image

My dot from Alcudia (Mallorca) lies in the water left besides the island..
Just above Ibiza..
How is this possible??

Image

Also ..

I went to Cala San Vicence , close to the Covas Blancas.
On the map of Mallorca there is just a small piece of land in this dot..
Here I got this note..
No dot on my map..
Who can help in this?
If you can't solve it it's not a problem..

You are probably referring to 07400 Alcúdia (whose coordinates are also known to the database with postal codes 07410). Other known places named Alcúdia (or similar) have the postal codes 03829, 04276, 12222, 46690, 46250; if you entered an unknown combination, the system will guess the location as mean of these places. Perhaps it's also a matter of the accented ú.
With the introduction of the new city data structures (expected soon) these guesses will become substantially smarter. If you wish to have the problem resolved earlier, e.g., by having your entries edited suitably, contact support with more detailed information.

If you've entered a location which doesn't yet exist in our database, we must enter the coordinates manually. Volunteers are automatically notified of this and add the coordinates as soon as possible. The dot is shown on the map immediately after that.
However, in preparation of the aforementioned re-organisation of the system of coordinates (and city rankings, by the way), the administrative tool has been temporarily disabled so that the answer at this very moment is: Nobody.

I guess..
If I look at this , 07400 Alcudia exists..

Just have to wait then until an announcement comes and my dot can be changed..I guess.

BTW, I don't know if it has already been reported but our world map has a problem of scale at the top.

In fact, the area of Africa is about 30.000.000 km² while the area of Greenland is about 2.000.000 km² !

This is an inevitable consequence of the Mercator projection which is used in all maps on EBT.

I'm looking for a certain information concerning the dot maps: the (x and y) number of pixels per dot. Ok, from what i've read until now, the x number shouldn't be much of a problem, as it seems to be equal to 3 everywhere except for one column near Moscow. But the y number seems to be rather irregular.

avij mentioned a picture that might include the information i'm searching. Did someone by chance save this picture, when it was still online?

Perhaps one of you already faced this problem once and can help me...
