Anyone else notice an abundance of Bond printer codes in the current batch of W bills? I'm not a power user by any stretch, but even I have found a number of them in a relatively short amount of time.

W007 tenners were released in Portugal last February and kept showing up in uncirculated bundles in ATMs until at least the end of April. They keep circulating. Outside Portugal, though, they are quite rare.

Now for something not completely different:

A "town" in the Azores (Portugal) has now its own postal code, and it ends in 007.

The "town" is in fact an unpopulated place on the Faial island, and its name is Cu de Judas. "No cu de Judas" (literally, "in Judas's arse") is a Portuguese idiom meaning very far from anywhere, like "in the middle of nowhere" or "below the horizon" or "at the end of the world" or "god-know-where".

I should have been more specific. I was indeed talking about those W007 tenners. I wasn't even fully aware if other W bills were getting pooled at the moment (or recently). And I certainly wasn't aware those tenners were getting pooled here, and nowhere else. So, sorry about enticing all of you all over Europe.
