Ahoj,
groentje wrote: Thu Aug 08, 2024 11:12 pm Unfortunately, this doesn't work for those cities, which amazes me, as they are probably the most important cities were it makes sense (for me) to use the Dutch name.
I finally found time to look at this problem. This is happening because these are important cities with more than one postcode. Otherwise the program would have listed you all cities for the postcode you used. This is exactly the cities that are also known by their endonyms (how we call them outside).

Now this is a problem for me because so far I have no way to make a difference beween a municipality with more than one postcode and several municipalities with a similar name (such as Saint-Martin). I will have to find a solution because One has the right to visit Rjsel, Pariggi or Strasburk.

Because it will take time, if you want groentje I can manually record Rijsel and Parijs so you get correct counting.

Thanks, I found a workaround by adapting one note in EBT to the standard French name, so my data are correct.

This is now repaired. You may enter yourself the Paris as Parijs from your dashboard.

One strange thing is I don't see any more Rijsel as an unknown municipality. Did you also rename it. I see you have Lille in your list https://ebt.fr.eu.org/en/stats/15145/liste-communes/

You may rename it to Rijsel if you want, this will be associated with Lille after you associate the names.

P.S. The fix was easier than expected. All I have to do is to stop restricting the name association to citys with only one postcode. So all in all, thanks groentje for leting me know about this problem.

I just migrated the database behind https://ebt.fr.eu.org/en/leaderboard/

There should not be any change in behaviour of the pages but if you encounter any clinch don't hesitate to report it here.

I plan to move the frontend and if I find time, I'll improve performance.
