Ik heb vandaag beide wedstrijden gekeken.
I wonder how many Dutch fans will go to work tomorrow

Ich frage mich wieviele niederländische Fans morgen zur Arbeit gehen werden.
Ok now have fun translating this:
The air conditioning system of your car can easily replace a refrigerator if you didn't place your car in bare sunshine.

Klimatizačný systém tvojho auta môže ľahko nahradiť mrazničku ak svoje auto neumiestniš na jasnom slnku.
Translation of "bare sunshine" isn't exact, but it's very hard to translate it literaly. I tranlated it like "shining sun".
Outdoor activities often place people at serious risk of dehydration which can lead to heat-related illnesses and in severe cases death.

A menudo, las actividades al aire libre exponen a las personas a un riesgo serio de deshidratación, lo cual puede conllevar enfermedades relacionadas con el calor y en los casos más severos, la muerte.

Today we had one of the biggest surprises of this World Cup tournament with Switzerland winning against Spain.
Heutegab es eine der größten Überraschungen bei der Fussball Weltmeisterschaft als die Schweiz gegen Spanien gewann.
It is hard to translate those -ing forms to german although there is a corresponding form which is hardly used though (which whould be 'gewinnend gegen'). The term 'world cup tournament' is translated as 'Weltmeisterschaft' or 'Fussball Weltmeisterschaft' which would be 'Football World Cup Tournament'. However, in Germany it is common to simply speak of the 'WM' which is much shorter...
Ok another one to translate:
Taking the current scoring as full time result South Africa will be the first host of a World Cup Tournament which did not qualify for the 2nd stage.

Afgaande op de huidige score als eindstand Zuid-Afrika zal de eerste organisator (litterally "host" is translated into "gastheer", but that's mostly used for persons only. Therefor I used "organisator" as being the organizing country) van een Wereld Beker Toernooi die zich niet kwalificeert voor de tweede ronde.
Another surprise is the fact that France can go back home so early. Now we can see some new countries getting into the next round.

Otra
sorpresa es
el hecho que Francia
puede volver a casa tan temprano. Ahora podremos ver algunos
países nuevos llegar a la siguiente ronda.
Looking back at the World Cup, the biggest positive surprise probably was Uruguay
reaching the semi-finals. Many considered them to be the weakest
South American team to qualify for South Africa.

Terugkijkend op het WK was de grootste positieve verrassing dat Uruguay de halve finales bereikte. Velen beschouwden hen als het zwakste Zuid-Amerikaanse team dat zich voor Zuid-Afrika gekwalificeerd heeft.
It's really funny to see that, after not having visited this forum for a very long time, this topic of mine still exists and still is alive. As well I'm really surprised to see that I have posted over 1500 messages, it seems that I liked it here

On todella hauskaa nähdä, että oltuani poissa* tältä foorumilta pitkän aikaa, tämä topikkini on yhä olemassa ja elossa. Olen yllättynyt myöskin nähdessäni, että olen postannut yli 1500 viestiä - vaikuttaa, että pidin täällä olemisesta.

Hoje está em exibição um filme que eu vi no cinema há uns sete anos.
Évora's unique quality stems from the whitewashed houses decorated with azulejos and wrought-iron balconies dating from the 16th to the 18th century.

Evoras einmalige Qualität stammt von den weißgetünchten Häusern, die mit Azulejos und schmiedeeisernen Balkonen aus dem 16. bis 18. Jahrhundert geschmückt sind.
Remark: There is no proper German word for "azulejos"; only an explanation or description. Such, the word is not translated but adopted. Probably the same thing in the other languages.
I will soon have to turn on the heating. It is getting cold, not only outside, but also inside.

Huomiseksi, syyskuun 29. päiväksi, on suunniteltu koko Espanjaan yleislakko.
I find it somewhat funny how everywhere in Europe outside Finland and Scandinavia the flats get cold in wintertime and you start needing a thicker blanket.
