I haven't noticed this feature before, but I agree that it's not desirable that NIG suddenly closes when you only wanted to cut something (especially for users that have to wait over 10 minutes for NIG to start).

After a while I'll update this list:
First question: those messages don't appear any more (after a couple of times). Maybe, because I accepted a few times?
But I think with the next version it will be there again. Is it possible to avoid this at that time?

Second question:
The lines still appear with loading the Belgian codes, but this one:

Those messages (codes_belgium.txt) were shown with the previous version too, but this message (codes_france.txt) is new:

doesn't anymore.

But I've got two more questions now:

When I ask for "Charts" (Statistics 21, Shift F9) I get an empty page (allthough the checkmark "Disable charts" is off).

How can I get these? (if it's only possible by using "Special Operations" "Simply Charts", Ctrl+I, why is it in the "Create Statistics"-menu too?)

In January we got a new combination of : E/P
I've got 57 (all Trichets of course) of them right now, but NIG thinks, they are Duisenbergs.
I think, because they're filling up gaps in the serialnumbers: Those I've got all start with "P062" (my other "P06*" are P060 and P061: all G007--).
Maybe, you can let NIG recognize these as "Trichets"?

I finally managed to get Charts visible:
You need to creat them first with "Special Operations" "Simply Charts", than choose "Seperate chart page (=chart report)" at "Placed On" (at the bottom of the box), and thirdly choose "Run Chart Report" on the right side.

I have got a problem with the location list:

I entered notes in two different German municipalities which share the same postal code. Now, in the main location list they are listed separately. But in the list of cities and municipalities of Germany all notes are assigned to only one of the municipalities. Is there an solution to this problem?

If details are needed: I entered the notes in Bad Schwartau and in Ratekau. In codes_germany.txt Bad Schwartau has the postal code 23611 and Ratekau has 23626. This is correct. However, a certain quarter of Ratekau (where I got the notes) also has the postal code 23611. I have entered two notes respectively in both 23611 Bad Schwartau and in 23611 Ratekau. In the list of cities and municipalities of Germany all four notes are assigned to Bad Schwartau (see link to my NIG stats in my signature).

Yes, there is a solution to this problem. I just have to add locationnames to postalcodes if one postalcode is in more than one municipality.
I haven't checked all postalcodes, so errors like 23611 can still occur. I will correct that in a new codes_germany in the near future.

I'm proud to announce the official release of the 1st complete files for the italian Comune.
You can easily download from the link in my signature!

Please just beware the file is 1,3 MB and might slow your NIG! So handle with care!
It reports all 8100 italian comune.
Only raccomendation for proper output is the name written in italian language and with the correct spelling and postal codes!

So for this year's new combinations we have (in no particular order and maybe not even complete):

E002/P
F002+003/S
R001/X (and probably 002 and up are to be expected as well)
H006/L
K003/T

And possibly there will be higher G codes as well this year. I believe they were going to print for 4 or 5 countries, including .

Maybe not completely ontopic, but interesting none the less.

And an on-topic edit:
The bar for Slovenia in the 'Notes by Country' section is white. So you cannot see it against the equally white background (half of the time).

Double post, but the other was some time ago.

I notice if I make the Note Analysis the T/Z and U/M combinations (the last two) do not show.
