Too bad, but it's already been proven that the system works with hit notes so you may get a nice message from your phone some day

Oh yes, please use the official WAP webpage address, wap.eurobilltracker.com. The old miuku.net address is deprecated and will probably stop working some day. They're on a different servers anyway. For example, the latest unicode changes have only been made to the official wap.eurobilltracker.com page. I thought I had already changed the first message in this thread to reflect this change, but looks like I hadn't done it after all, until now :?

The short code field doesn't work with my new Nokia 3660, either. It's a new version of 3650 and I'd understand it to be newer than n-gage.
A quick way to get around this is to make a normal (X)HTML page with only the simple form in it. These Series 60 phones can use it, anyway :)
It appears I was able to log in to the EBT through the normal desktop version of the site :) The only problem is that the cells of the table in the site are some 5-10 pixels wide and scrolling the page with this processor takes _ages_. But it mailnly works, anyway. I guess I could give you a ready layout to be used with Series 60 phones. You'd only have to add the PHP :)

Also the country selection dialog in the wap version is broken with Series 60. It just gives me a page saying "Pick your country: <...>"

Looks like I'll have to implement some workarounds for buggy phones after all.. I'll try to write some test pages that you can try some day.

That'd be actually appreciated, the site already picks between two different layouts depending on whether you're surfing with a mostly standard compliant browser or horribly broken old Netscape browsers. Adding a third layout wouldn't be that hard, but be warned that some pages with tabular content may still look a bit weird with such a layout. But it'd help to have a different layout where the border menus and top10 lists etc. wouldn't be taking away precious screen space.

Are you sure you can't pull down that <...> pulldown menu? It looks initially the same with my 6310i, but when I access that menu I get a listing of coutnries.

It doesn't view as a pull-down menu. Just as completely regular text. And no matter what I try, it doesn't appear to do anything. Maybe I should bother raporting Nokia about this. But I won't bother right now. Maybe some other time.
Now I'll find a piece of paper and try to think what I want that cell phone page to look like :)

I wonder if there's some kind of a defined maximum for the number of items that are allowed in the dropdown list. The country listing is a bit large, in fact I added a dozen new countries to it (the wap page, not the webpage) recently.

Well.. The thing's now ready. You can browse it in http://paha.ath.cx/~dakkus/ebt . It looks a bit stupid with a normal web browser, but if you make the window very narrow, you should get the idea also that way :)
There are a few sites you can't reach straight from that link.
They are:
http://paha.ath.cx/~dakkus/ebt/?mcommand=loggedin <== This is the main place for those who have logged in.
http://paha.ath.cx/~dakkus/ebt/?mcommand=notereport
http://paha.ath.cx/~dakkus/ebt/?mcommand=userreport

I'm freaking tired now. As you can see comparing my posting times in this thread it took damn lot of time coding that. I had one pause. It was 2 minutes long ;)
But because I'm so tired, the things I coded last might look a bit funny :D

You, avij, should also get this file: http://paha.ath.cx/~dakkus/ebt/mobile-ebt.tar.gz . It's the directory with all the files I just created (~/public_html/ebt/). Have fun reading the code and attaching the needed parts.
I'll go sleeping now. It's half past one in the night and I've got an exam next morning :D

Thanks, that looks like it'd work pretty well for phones. I'll have a closer look at it shortly.

OK, I haven't forgotten these problems, unfortunately I haven't had time to write the workarounds yet. As for the country dropdown list, I'm planning to expand the dropdown list to a page of dozens of links, that should make it usable for every phone. And I guess I'll have to write some phone sniffing code so that it'll pick a different format for those phones that do not support the MNNNMN format. Still, a confirmation from some other user about the problem would be appreciated.

Oh yes, now that I got a brand new Nokia 6230 I have some first hand experience with using the web site with a phone. It does indeed look quite bad, I guess I'll have to implement the lighter layout proposed earlier.

It is not so quick but it is cool!

maybe a suggestion: Put the phones that allready tested by users in the first post?!

I've modified the code so that it'll give a slightly different field format for Siemens ST60, Nokia 3660 and Nokia N-Gage. Also, the country selection listing has been expanded from a drop-down list to a regular page with lots of links, this should fix the problems some people have encountered with the large drop-down list.

Looks like this broke those WAP devices which can only handle relatively small WML pages. I've now changed the country selection so that it'll first ask the initial letter of your country and then present a list of matching countries. So, if you have had problems logging in ("document too big" or similar), try again now and let me know if you still have problems.

Sorry it isn't
i didn't have notes at that time, and i only could login.
But if i want to enter a shortcode or serialcode, then is the only thing i could enter a number.
Is there a way you could change this Avij?
