By coincidence I had to visit my workplace this evening and during the trip I browsed through Metro (the giveaway magazine). There was an article about the prototype tram, have a look at the PDF and find the "HKL Linjalla" section from the end.

My mother has a Nissan Micra (2001 - Like this one, but grey), and my father has a Honda Civic (1999 - Like this one, but dark green).
Now the Lisbon trams (and buses)...
There used to be tram rails almost everywhere in the city back in the early 90s, but most of them have been removed and now the main public transportation vehicle is bus. However, there are some areas where trams are still used (the older areas of the city), and in downtown Lisbon there are modern trams. The older trams were built by Carris (the Lisbon public transportation company http://www.carris.pt - no English version, unfortunately), most of them were bidirectional. They are being used since the late 20s. The modern ones are built by Siemens/Duewag.
The older trams look like this:
Picture 1 - I TOLD you they were used the the OLDER areas of Lisbon
Picture 2
Picture 3 - Good picture. The tram n.28 is the most well-known
Picture 4 - A regular tram and a tourism tram.
The new ones (by Siemens/Duewag):

The old (not used anymore) buses:
Daimler Fleetline #811 - Double decker.
AEC Regal of 1948
Leyland (Guy) Victory (1967) - They were more common than the Regal
The buses we use:
Volvo (old model) - 4 or 5 years ago these where the most common, now they are being replaced by more modern ones.
Volvo (articulated)
Volvo (gas-powered)
MAN (minibus) - Used mostly in narrow-street routes in the older areas of Lisbon
Mercedes-benz (low floor)
Mercedes 4100 series
Volvo (tourism) - Open-top, sight-seeing tourism bus)
I can't find pictures of the others, so here's a list of all of them:
), the Santa Justa elevator, the funiculars and the subway:
Santa Justa elevator - an elevator in an old area of Lisbon - also operated by Carris.

I'm regularly driving Rover 200 (2000). Sometimes I drive also BMW 525D (2001) and Nissan Bluebird (1990). I like them all. Maybe Nissan the most.
