I am a translator who works for several companies in the western part of the Netherlands. I subtitle movies, documentaries and television series for Dutch television and have been doing so for the past eighteen years. I work at home and I am a freelance worker, self employed, which gives me a lot of freedom. And some worries, sometimes

At the moment, for example, I am subtitling an episode of Law and Order, Special Victims Unit, for a Dutch TV station.

I am now Director of a Company "selling" a certain type of service to laboratories (=we are organiser of Proficiency Testing schemes). This service comes to support the laboratories in their quality schemes by allowing them to compare their results with the results of their competitors.
