When you open the statistics in your browser it automatically searches for the css files and images in the same folder as the files are. If the files are not found it displays it without styles and images. Manually copying the files to the folder should solve your problem.

Why do you want to open it in excel? If you simply want to see all details of your notes you could simply open the csv file in a text editor like notepad. If you really want to open it in excel you could try a workaround like the one mentioned in this
excel-forum. It's quite a technical solution, but it might work.

Many thanks, googlejaps, for your hints. Now everything works perfect in our NIG - the three missing files were added automatically this time, maybe, because I opened the statistics in a better way (via special operations).
Concerning the csv-file for our notes, I now used "WordPad" to open it. and that is quite enough for the few special things, that we want to look up there. You are right - Excel isn't needed for that

I have downloaded NIG v 1.75.
As always, amazing. Great small improvements. I particular welcome the new line graphs instead of the previous dotted line ones.
However, the Time Analysis charts looked much nicer and were easier to read on the previous versions, with all those blue and yellow colored boxes. Was it done on purpose? If so, is there a way for me to change this particular item back to the previous layout without dongrading to 1.74?

NIG doesn't work on my computer anymore. I get an error message like the one below. Has anyone an idea how I should fix this? I tried it with both NIG 1.75 and an older version. Both times the same problem.

When I create my statistics, I want to put them on the web. Luckily my webserver is at home, so it's an easy job. But what I would really like is a setting in NIG that you can specify where the output goes. Is it possible to make that?

When generating my NIG-Stats, the German ä ü ß, etc fail.
It looks like M�nchen (shoul be München)
Can anyone help me regarding this matter please?

I looked in the output of the html files and see that all special characters are formed from UTF-8 characters, which is not proper html. A character like ü should be ü . It works for me, but it will not work in all character sets.
I also see some other quirks in the html that make it non-valid html. Like img src values not between "".
You can use validator.w3.org to check for valid html.

Hello MasterZocker!
Let me guess, you use the EBT-Tool to download the CSV-file? I had the same problem (german "Umlaute", WinXP german).
The EBT-Tool saves the CSV-file in ANSI. There are 2 ways to solve this issue:
Use the CSV-file that is available to be downloaded at
http://www.eurobilltracker.eu/my_notes/my_notes/?tab=2.
or
After downloading the CSV-file with the EBT-Tool use notepad and use the option "save as". There will be a drop-down-list where you can choose the enconding of the file. Simply use "UTF-8" instead of "ANSI". And don't forget not to save the file as a TXT-file

this might sound a little stupid, but....
especially for reasonably new trackers , (like myself, i've only been tracking for a year and a half now), it would be nice to have a ' Duisenberg bingo ' .....
since a Trichet bingo is not that difficult to reach anymore, but for newbies like me, the Duisenberg notes are much more of a challenge!!!!!
wouldn't that be possible in the future, or should i just keep on dreaming.....

After entering some notes (and exporting to csv-file) I have to close don NIG and start it again, to include the last notes in my next statistics.
I have a question:
Is it possible to add a function: "update csv-files"?
If possible two functions: "update notes.csv-file" and "update hits.csv-file": than it saves time with loading the data (especially, if you don't have any hits after the last time, you don't need to reload the hits-file
).

Dots of Belgium
You can copy this file into your personal codes_belgium.txt - or use the original name codes_belgium_dots.txt.
