we can't know for sure. All the Y notes are :note-10:, the S and V notes are :note-50:. The euro is new in Cyprus and probably he just found one or more banks that gave him some new notes. Not all new notes always have to be in the same range. It's only strange, not a sure point for inventing

Just a small question: How do you know he is extrapolating ??
We know you're used to strange serials as a collector... but it's impossible to get :note-50: serials in small groups of 5, 6, 8, 10 of them.... if you get serial, you get 20, 30, 50 serials, or if you get small amount you will get small amount of serials... but you can't have 40 notes in all small serial by 5,6 in a row each :arrow: he's extrapolating notes around those he has in his hand!

I've got lots of small serials:
  • When you get a few notes from an ATM, you can't have more serials :wink: (if you get 5 :note-50:, you can't have a serial of 20 :note-50:).
  • I got even a few times serials of 2 or 3 together with other notes. In that case someone had got a serial from the ATM, deposited those 2 or 3 at the bank again, and I got them again. Those notes stayed together all this time.
  • You can also have two serials at the same action at the ATM: serials are deposited at the bank in groups; if you get the last part of one serial and the first part of the next one, you have two serials from one ATM.
  • There's another way to get more serials: get your notes from different ATM's. If they both (or more if you get them from more ATM's) are filled with new notes, you get more serials.

You can easily "guess" when someone is extrapolating...

My objective is just to make our admins aware of the issue...

For the rest, I don't want to enter into any polemics... :wink:

You can do anything you want with the notes, none is behind you to check if the note you (=you referred to a general user not you eddie, that I trust 1000% :wink: ) are entering is really in your hand or you really got in that place... this is a game of trust, you can trust or not. Here in this case I don't trust this guy at all, I trust more the serials entered today than the small amount entered yesterday! :roll: 8O

If you look at my notes, the ones I posted over the weekend, you can see a similar pattern. I had couple of :note-50: in sequence which were given to us by a client. If he got them straight from the bank, they might have been still together. But then, it's impossible to have a hit, cause obviously, these notes are new.

It's moderated now... is it in investignation or is it moderated due to suspicious people? There are some small users involved but none seem suspicious (but I can't see their moderated hits of course).

they are not real and intersting and should be moderated.all.
