Well, 1s and 2s also look like 1c and 2c
Obviously, noone does this, since the value of LVL is higher than EUR. (1LVL=1.43 EUR). I wonder about Lithuanian coins, there it might be an issue, since LITAS is like 5 times cheaper than LATS. I know my grandma was tricked once in accepting 2 lithuanian cent coin (white made of aluminium 0.0058 EUR) for 2 Lats coin (white but heavy, 2.85 EUR).

here you can see the new 1£ coin, first issue on march 28th,
it seems that it will look more like our 1€ coin than the former 1£ coin.
dimensions and weight :
Diameter 23.43mm (1€ coin = 23.25mm) (former 1£ coin =22.5mm)
Thickness 2.8mm ( 1€ coin = 2.33mm) (former 1£ coin = 3.15mm)
Weight 8.75g ( 1€ coin = 7.50g) (former 1£ coin = 23g)

They were not around yet, when I was there in the beginning of February, but let's try to find some next month. When are the old coins withdrawn?

Very soon actually. According to the
New Pound Coin website, "The legal tender status of the round £1 coin will be withdrawn on 15th October 2017."

Last time, after cashing some fivers, I 'm always going inside of the bank to the coinmachines.people always forget to check the rejectbasket

. Now there were some coins laying on the coinvending machine. 8 pieces

and even some behind the coindepositmachine. So I got between those machines and got another 8 coins
On the coinvendingmachine:
2 britsh 1 pennies : 2008 & 2010
2 swiss francs 20c : 1978 & 1992
2 eurocents france 1999& Luxembourg 2016 (new)
2 turkish lira's : 1 & 5 kurus : 2015,2016
Only the 1 kurus looks like a cent, same copper colour only thinner and lighter.
And the 'pound' coins less then 1mm as a 5 cent piece. Even swiss 20c is the same size

Only silvercoloured.
Behind the machine:
2 old dutch cents 1958,1970 (little bigger than a eurocent)
2polish groze : 2 gr 2013,5 gr 1990
1 croatian 5 lipa 2009 nice
And 12 cent: 10 c AT 2002,1c DE 2012A & a corroded 1c DE xxxxx

That's probably the only possible "fake" euro coin worth more than the real one
