Now I am quite sure (unless my car fails or something similar) that i will attend, at least for one day, but hopefully 2 as I booked a hotel for. I will not attend to the bus tour. BTW: I choose a hotel quite outside the city, thus hints about where to park (maybe to use park and ride) would be nice.
And: As I have go there by car (Astra Caravan), I may pick up max. four people, for example from Bielefeld or Osnabrück in Germany or from Enschede in the netherlands (that would give me a good reason to get this dot which is a pretty detour otherwise).

I have deleted some posts, since they had no value for this topic at all.

The official locations can be found here.

I myself always prefer to park (for free) at the Buikslotermeerpleinin Amsterdam Noord. From there a lot of busses will take you to Central Station in about 5-10 minutes.

The only problem with these locations is the fact that after 00.00-00.30 public transport switches to the night net and it will get a lot harder to get back.

The strippenkaart isn't valid than any more and you have to buy a more expensive ticket. Paying with to the busdriver!?

Btw, I am the #1 user in the UK and in Slovakia (I asked avij for the numbers, I am really the one who entered most bills in these non-Euro countries, due to a very good source). Additionally, I think I have the most dots in the UK (13) :)

Yes please let us know, it won't be a problem to have one or two persons more on Friday and Saturday, but we DO need the exact participants for the boattrip on Sunday!

I'll try to make it. It's just that on Friday we're only two persons here in the office, so we'll be a bit busy and I don't know when I can leave; then the train journey takes almost three hours. But at the moment it looks like this:

Friday: Annie arrives in A'dam sooner or later. At least I'll try to join the group for the evening meal.
Saturday: full attendance
Sunday: will participate other (eventual) activities but not the bus tour, thanks.
