I had the same problem yesterday but it righted itself today so perhaps if you wait until tomorrow and download your csv file perhaps it will right itself for you.

The travel stats will be ok. There was the same behaviour on New Year's Day 2010.

try this
program nig.exe and files notes_entered_by....csv and hits_by_....csv must be in the same folder
jack

I tried it, but still same error. Didn't try it yet on another pc.

I use Windows 7. Win7 uses the UAC (e.g. File and Registry Virtualization). This means, if a program seems to write to c:\Program Files, it really writes to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files. Maybe this is your problem. Try putting NIG and the csv-files into the folder c:\nig (own folder) and create a new nig_settings.dat (rename the old one).

It's been soon two years that Nig hasn't been able to run on my PC. I haven't found any solution.
Hopefully it's run's on my wife's PC.

What you can try is open the notes.csv file in a text editor and delete the last notes until NIG will run again. If it's been two years, you'd want to remove all those notes. When NIG does run on only the old notes than there is a note that causes NIG not to run. That's the offending line and the details of that line are interesting. Strange country, strange place, strange comment, strange shortcode or serial. Something.

I saw it at Marcell 747 notes data, there was some strange printer/serial numbers inside and NIG won't work...
try my tool to find them: http://www.arbeitsplatzvernichtung-durc ... check.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I need help regarding the NIG 1.84. It works fine, but in the statistics of the note analysis, no P/X combination notes are shown. With 1.82 it worked fine. Has anyone a hint for me?

Thanks and best regards from Munich

When will there be an update of NIG? There are some issues (just see the last entries in this thread)

here is my short bug list:

E/X 200 are not recognized
sorting is wrong: G/Y should be AFTER G/X

More:

- :note-10: G/P in the Trichet bingo is misplaced too.
- There are missing combinations in the Trichet bingo ( :note-10: J/S, :note-100: P/X, :note-200: E/X)

wow, it was only until yesterday that i got to know this amazing tool for statistic freaks 8)
however, i have a question. unfortunately in the results all the little graphics like :flag-de: or :note-10: and the formatting are not shown. instead it looks like this.
is that because the program is not yet developed that far or do you have any suggestions about how to improve the reading flow (i hope that's an understandable english word  )

That's BBCode for the forum.
Just copy+paste into e.g. the test forum section and you can have a more readable flow.

You can publish your statitstics in the "POST HERE YOUR STATISTICS" Thread.
NIG generates also HTML files, which you can read with your browser.
The html files are in an folder in the nig folder.

And the name of this folder is "[your EBT user ID]_statistics". (E.g. for me: 127507_statistics)
