NIG generates also HTML files, which you can read with your browser.
The html files are in an folder in the nig folder.

i have another question concerning nig:
as you can see in this screenshot, nig thinks i have tracked 93 bills from bennewitz (http://de.eurobilltracker.com/profile/?city=9127). but bennewitz is the neighbouring community of machern (http://de.eurobilltracker.com/profile/?city=57538) where i actually entered the 93 notes. is that information of any use to the developping team, who can fix this?

This is probably because you used the zip code you used to enter machern, is linked to bennewitz in the nig configuration file of Germany. You can check in this file which zip you should have used to make the notes appear under machern instead of bennewitz, or you can change the configuration file.

According to my information, Machern has a postalcode of 04827. I think you have used 04828 Machern.

04828 is Bennewitz, as far as I know.

the community of machern is divided into several postal codes and the place i got the notes is somewhere between machern and lübschütz (which both belong to the community of machern). it is already 04828 (which of course belongs to bennewitz as well), so 04828 in machern should be correct.

extra lines :

04828;Machern=Machern
04828;Dögnitz=Machern
04828;Lübschütz=Machern
04828;Plagwitz=Machern
04828;Püchau=Machern

and change

04828=Bennewitz into 04828;Bennewitz=Bennewitz

i have two more questions:

i was testing the function of entering boomerang notes. how can i delete the info again? when i click edit boomerang status none of the options helped.

secondly, i had to change some notes i entered into another city profile. somehow the result looks like this: in 2011 i was at the airport leipzig/halle in two different months, but it doesn't show in the first statistic...

I think the problem with "airport leipzig/halle" is a bug in NIG. I've the same problem, the cause is the slash / in the name of the location: The boomerang notes are in the file nig_boomerang.dat. It's in the same folder as your NIG.exe.
I think you can edit it (e.g. deleting a row)!
