As I said earlier, I don't expect one until the Estonian D-notes are in circulation.

NIG-homepage:
NIG in its current form has come to an end. It needs to be re-designed. So, JIG was born. It'll be a long time before anything is ready for a release though. At the moment, baby-JIG reads CSV files very fast, not much else. Any ideas about the directions to take are welcome. These are the things planned so far:
Anything that gets old fairly quickly will be loaded from external configuration files (signature recognition, combinations)
Support for different languages is a possibility
HTML files should be completely customizable
Better Google Earth support (KMZ)
JFreeChart library could be used for creating some pretty cool graphics
Selecting notes => statistics for the year 2008, all notes from a certain country, etc.
Hope JIG is growing well.

There is a mistake in the graph "development of hit ratio". I got a passive hit on a day when I did not enter any bill, and the hit ratio in the graph did not change. Can anyone fix it, please?

No. NIG is not open source, so only the person/team responsible of its development can modify it.

any idea where is the string of "trivia" in the nig?I tried to unpack and open the .exe file and search for combination in order to add E/X notes and
J/S in trichet bingo but with no result.
I momently solved the problem editing the .html trivia page as you can see in my stats,but i have to do the same work any time i update them.

well, it's Windows only software, so without a virtual machine or an emulator like Wine it won't run at all on a Mac

Is there any chance of a new release of NIG?
Here is a short list what's missing:
E/E 5, E/F 5, E/G 5, E/H, E/X 10 , E/X 200, G/X 50 are generally not recognized
Trichet U/M 10, J/S 10 are not recognized
sorting is wrong: G/Y should be AFTER G/X
Draghi note P/X 10 note not recognized (and all signatures charts and stats needs updates too)
Does someone know Bobtail personally? Maybe the source code of NIG could be released?

My personal bug list comprises some plates that should count for the Trichet bingo (section Trivia) but currently don't:
J006/S, J007/S and J009/S.
P008/X, P009/X and P010/X.
E001/X.
Another sorting issue in the same bingo:
G/P should be above G/X.
