EBTM07 Berlin - Meetinghits

Hi meeting-people,

Same as in 2005 and 2006.
"We" think it would be nice to talk here about meetinghits that have to do with European EBT Meeting in Berlin 2007.

Reports of interesting AND uninteresting or moderated hits are welcome here.

I am wondering how many of those have occured or will become hits later.

On Friday I had a very special meetinghit.

I checked into my hostel late Thursday evening and paid my stay.
I didn't know that another Eurobilltracker also was staying there. It seems that one of my bills was given to an Australian girl. This girl was the roommate of Puupenni - Wooden Penny. He told the girl all about EBT and managed to change some bills from her. Among them was my bill.

This hit was entered friday evening where we had the pre-meeting BBQ.
I was just editing a location for B100w11 when I was interrupted and heard some loud yelling from the computers behind me. They told me about the hit and I was just amazed and super very happy!

I think this is an incredible hit and shows the true nature of EBT. Following my bill from Wilsele (a suburb of Leuven, Belgium where I live) all the way through the Alps on my journey through 10 countries. Then further passed to an Australian girl who gives it to Puupenni - Wooden Penny.

now let's hope no other EBTer from today enters one of my L022A2 fivers I exchanged there...

@joergb30: Probably that he received it in the bar of the Fernsehturm and spent it in Potsdam Hauptbahnhof at Baecker Wiedemann.

On the other hand he said here that he hasn't spent a note in the Bar. So either it was another tracker who received and spend it without registering it or Spanier spend it somewhere and some other visitor of the Fernsehturm took the note upstairs.

All 550 notes I get and tracked in Berlin/Potsdam are no meeting-hits. Congratulation to me

Ok Ok. 500 are brand new bills from the Bundesbank friday morning

... 300 --> Kempen and 200 --> Berlin where they come from...

Sounds to me that this is a clear case of a meetinghit. If there wasn't a meeting, there wouldn't have been this hit.

As i already said, yes it is a meetinghit.

But we both didnt know the other eurobilltracker was around and wooden penny got it from an australian girl. It is not directly from the cash register hostel.

If there wasnt a meeting then HBoZ wouldnt have found a bill from Mannheim in Berlin. Also a meetinghit.

In my opinion not every meetinghit has to be moderated.
