Ireland doing the record this year...

With a 9 months we entered in total 28 000 notes, what is more than ever, with a whole year, so I would say if we continue like that we could do 40 000 notes this year, what is for Ireland just grate achievement, hope that we get more and more new dedicated trackers in Ireland and of course from outside as well… :D

well done europae and all the other Irish contributors.

And i enter often 40.000 banknotes in 2 months time as a single person. What a waist of time.

Ireland has until now 133 interesting hits; well I have 135 hits this September 2008.

Yes, I am still waiting for an Ireland-hit on my resume.

Huge difference isn’t it, 40 000 by one person or whole country, but unfortunately and its been many times said by other Irish trackers, that people here just don’t care about that, and life expectancy of notes here are probably the shortest one in Europe…

Well in the end there were 51913 notes entered in Ireland in 2008.
This year, so far, there have been 52080 notes entered in Ireland which is close to double last year's entering rate.

Hits with Irish notes are quite rare even in Ireland. The following are my stats.
K/T notes 23887 for 2 hits giving a ratio of 11943.5 notes/hit
Other notes 24215 for 20 hits giving a ratio of 1210.75 notes per hit.

I wrote this 2 days ago and yesterday I had a hit with an Irish :note-10: note.
Today a hit with an Irish :note-5: note.
Therfore it is logical to conclude that the best way of getting hits with Irish notes is to moan about your lack of success. :D :D :D

Ha-Ha just joking.

Last year (2008) Ireland had 50 hits. Now (2009) already 55; hits are improving.

2007: 29
2006: 26
2005: 26
2004: 12
2003: 00
2002: 02

I hope i counted correctly!
