Marking Read/Unread of Forums.

A few days I'm seeing something strange (I only noticed it with the forum "EuroBillTracker Users", but maybe it's also the case with other forums).
After my Login, I see a few Forums which have unread topics.
If I opened the forum EuroBillTracker Users and read all the topics, this forum should get a mark as "read".
But if I look at the main page this forum is still marked as "consisting unread topics". Opening this forum I can't find any topics which I need to be read.
With clicking on "Mark subjects as read" (if I translated "Markeer onderwerpen als gelezen" correctly) the forum is marked "read" at the main page too.
But if someone posts here again it's marked "to be read" (which is correct) and I read this, it stays "to be read" (this is not correct).
EDIT: it's the same when reading the forum at my work. So I think, it's not in my computer.

Same here, and also with the EuroBillTracker Users forum.

I notice the same with this forum ("Forum feedback") too.

Maybe does it depend from the browser you are using? I find the same problem with my Firefox 3.0.6 running on Windows XP.

At my work it's IE 6.0, at home it's IE 7.?? (I know it's a 7, but I don't know "which 7").

That's funny, that's
also the same for me!
(actually on most PC's at work it is 7, but for some reason this one has still got 6...)

Both with Firefox and with Konqueror, this same problem occurs (but only with the "EBT Users" forum).

Same here, only in "EuroBillTracker Users" forum.

At home it's 7.0.
I'm sorry to say this, but it's still the same with the forums of the group "General".

I have the same problem at home and at the office with various versions of Internet explorer.

And now it's not only so for the group "General", but also for the forum "International EBT-meetings"
(I don't know if it's for the other topics too: to find out I'll have to open each topic seperately and this costs a lot of time).

I think maybe in those forums there are some hidden threads (threads who cannot be seen by all the users), and when someone of the authorized users writes something in those threads, the entire topic is marked as "unread".

That also would explain why the forum "Forum feedback" is marked read for me now.
