I can see coins from UK, USA, Canada, a Russian 100 roobles note, Indonesia, Singapore, Norway, Switzerland, and a handful of $1 notes.
Old coins from the euro zone: Vatican lira, Netherlands, aluminum chips from the GDR, Austria, Spain, Greece, France, Portugal, Germany.
And 2 oversized memorial coins from both a metro inauguration in Hamburg and a natural history museum in Berlin, the latter depicting an Archaeopterix.
It's funny to see that we all have very different coins and bills in our collection.eurobillsandcoins wrote:I opened a memories box and found quite a lot of coins and bills. I found quite a lot of Hong Kong coins(2000$HK), $1500 HK cash, 14.000 japanese yen, 5200 yen coins, 100$ U.S. in bills and $10 coins. ....

I'm not sure, but I think that some Scottish banks have right to release their own notes. And I think that same goes for Northern Ireland, too. (I'm not so sure about that, I guess they use the euro alot there, at least near the borderline)Olivier wrote: Hips!![]()

Are there different banknotes for England and Scotland? I have found some notes specificaly from Scotland on the web...

Yes K3lvin this is true, there were at least 4 or 5 different banks issuing notes. It was confusing for my tellers when I had the exchange office.K3lvin wrote:I'm not sure, but I think that some Scottish banks have right to release their own notes.
