Tell us what your highest rankng ever was/is.
And tell us what you expect to be at the end of this year.
For me is the highest ever: 177 (international) and 34 (dutch only)
I hope to be with the best 140 (international) by the end of this year (achieved!

), and by the best 25 (dutch only) (not achieved

).
Right now 24-6-2003: 147 international and 30th in the Netherlands.

Right now 23-11-2003: 126 international and 26th in The Netherlands

Right now 20-01-2004: 128 international and 28th in The Netherlands

Right now 26-02-2004: 123 international and 28th in The Netherlands

Right now 24-03-2004: 120 International and 27th in The Netherlands

Right now 02-04-04: 116 international and 25th in The Netherlands!

I was 32nd in the Finnish ranking for sometime but now I've fallen to 37th and my estimated position for the end of the year is 37-40
edit: I forgot, I used to be second in the rankings in Monaco, with one note! and also I used to be in top thirty in Italy. nowadays I can't see myself in either of these countries' lists at all. Am I removed since I don't live there?

Well, I'm always rising, because most of the Portuguese users are inactive... I'm currently 67th, and going up
As for the international ranking, don't have a clue...

My highest ranking is 8th (Dutch) and 60th (international).
Which are my rankings at the moment
At the end of the year I hope to have entered 3000 notes.
That would mean 4th (Dutch) and 35th (international).
But that would be the case if all other users stop entering bills and no
other users enter the site. But of course that will happen, so I guess I will
have the same rankings at the end of the year as the rankings I have now.

There was a time (at the beginning of april 2002) when I was at ranking 43 (international). Now I'm at 66. In the Belgian ranking I'm currently at position 12.

"The only way is up"
Emmem has kindly updated the Belgian top-50 today and I'm sporting my first entry there, #47. It took 5 months and more than 600 notes - which gets me nowhere on the international list. Yet.
My goals are: to stay in the Belgian top-50, add about 100 notes/month (well, based on the average so far), have about 1200-1500 notes under my belt (so to say) after the first year as a tracker and maybe, just maybe, have one hit by the end of this year. Please Santa? I'll be a good girl.
+++Added 9.8.2003+++
Just wanted to write down the current situation: 1043 notes, ranking #37 in Belgium and #188 internationally. Things could be worse...

..and on the following day they were even improved - 1082 notes, number 35/181.
+++Added 3.11.2003+++
Lots of new efficient guys approaching fast. I'd better write down the current situation before they drag me down. #136 on the international list, #26 in Belgium. 1669 notes altogether but no hit yet. So, I've reached and kept my other goals, let's see if the last one happens before the end of the year. 58 days left and 1669 notes in the system = 96802 new "unused" exposure days.
+++Added 24.11.2003+++
Help, I'm falling

although I keep on entering notes. And exposure days for this year are fading fast as well. 1764 notes, 37 days left = 65268.
+++Added 12.7.2004+++
A lot of notes have been entered since the previous remark. At the moment 3939 notes, #19 in Belgium, #112 internationally. And in order to rise one more position in Belgium, I would need more than 500 notes. Help!

You can only be listed at one particular country at a time, so if you change your country in your user profile, you will be removed from the list of the previous country you were in.
Just made a practical test - Changed my country three times and appeared as 1st place in both Monaco and Lithuania and I was an 8th placer in Luxembourg (and, of course, never appearing in the Portuguese list)

Maybe an idea for avij to add this to your user profile
Your current position in the national and international ranking,
with maybe a link to go to a page where you are in the middle,
and you can scroll up 2 pages and scroll down 2 pages ...
that way there is no performance issue and users can still see how they
are doing.

Another option: Allow for the national lists only users with more than 100 entries. This would help kettenseger because he now needs 294 notes for the German top 180. In the Netherlands you need today 111 notes to enter the Dutch top 180. In Italy we waste 3 empty pages because there are only 73 Italian users of which only 6 have entered notes during the last 30 days and only 5 have entered more than 100 bills.
I propose 100 because we set the 100 as a threshold for the "advanced users" permission. We wanted to keep out fakers with this 100 threshold. I think that the same reasons apply for the national rankings.

153 Internationaal en 30 nationaal.
