Very few Irish hits

Post by Marja »

Seems that there are very few Irish hits and the two hits that are there look very suspicious! Maybe we need more Irish members!

Go Ireland!

Hello Maria!

Tell your friends about EBT! And ask your friends to tell their friend either... It will help to get new members if you start a chain reaction! :-)

It also would be good if EBT would get some publicity in the Irish media. Many Irish users joined when EBT was mentioned in a radio show and on Electric News. This happened on March 2002.

In Finland there has been a lot of publicity in media and in discussion forums.
BTW When I joined EBT over a year ago more notes were entered from Ireland than from Finland.

It didn't work that well, I'm afraid but we'll see. I've sent out the link to some friends trying to get them interested. But most of them think I'm crazy to enter all the notes.

One entered a couple notes but wasn't going to do it regularly (ah well any note helps) and one referer lives in Spain, so that'll be no use to me  but maybe to someone else! :)

It's not like we have that many users in Spain, either... :? I'm glad to see someone in Ireland so enthusiastic about EBT. We need more Irish users!

The Belgians, Dutch, Germans just keep on coming. Relatively speaking there aren't many frenchman considering the size of France, I could help the cause by marking BNP atms.

Just found this site . . . .and I'm Irish

Hey all,

Just found this site. I was refereed to it from the Where's George (Dollar tracking) site. I received a marked note on my travels in the states recently.

I've never received a marked note here (not with any noticeable marks that would indicate this site)

This site defo needs more publicity in Ireland :!: . I sent the address to nearly everyone in my address book, hope it gets some people interested.

Keep on logging those notes

Welcome!! Nice to see a new member from Ireland :D .
Making publicity in Ireland is hard because we don't have many active users from your country :( .
Feel free to make some extra publicity on some popular Irish (start?)websites 8) .

Ofcourse some members are creating fake hits by giving EBT-registrated notes to their friends which will enter them again, by emailing serial numbers to friends, ...
Moderators make fake hits invissible on the 'Interesting hit' list. Only the real hits are in that list.
BTW, you have a hit when someone enters your bill again OR when you enter a bill from another users for the 2nd-3rd-... time.

Many thanks, for your help.

I'll start putting the site out on as many message boards as I can.

the good work!

BTW, why don't you create your own account on this forum too? The more
people, the more fun! :)

the reason that there is so few irish people submitting is we are all pretty broke at the moment, if anyone see a celtic tiger, tell it to come home all is forgiven...
