What is more important to you?

I love hits over 1000 km. Why? Because I think they are harder to get. I have three hits over 1000 days and none over 1000 km.

I would love one of those hits. no matter whether 1000 days or 1000 Km. Both of them look wnderfull. If I had to choose just one... I think I would chose the 1000 km one, as I like maps and it would be somehow espectacular
Anyway: dreams. (at least for me

While the two parameters alone are already nice ones, I'm still striving to get hits with
both of them,
i.e. more than 1000 km distance
and more than 1000 days runtime, so I voted for both.
As of today, I have already three [
1], [
2], [
3] such hits, but the more, the better.

It's quite hard to choose : both is possible?

A hit over 1000 days is nice, and so is one over 1000 km -- but I am equally pleased with any hit: 1 km and 3 days is great also! There are so many notes out there, that for any of them to be found again is just amazing.
Of course, if I could get a hit of 14,000 km and 2700 days, then I'd
really be happy

Days, because it says something about that banknote holding up against the destruction when it is looking ugly.
13 Hits with more than 1000 days and 1000 kilometers.

I prefer hits more than 1000 days, as it shows that the note has been alive for a long time.
At the moment, the hits I like best is when someone finds one of my notes abroad as I really have a small list of such notes.

I have:
|D| = |{hit|Days>1000}| = 34
|K| = |{hit|Km>1000}| = 7
|D ∩ K| = 3
and I prefer both

I like them both, but if I can choose, I prefer the 1000 days.
1000 km are quite easy to reach: if someone gets a note at holidays, the flies home and the note is found again, you get a long-distance-hit.
But for a +1000-days-hit, all you can do is wait (and wait and wait and wait).

The question if it's easier to get over 1000 km long hits or over 1000 days old hits, depends a lot on your own personal life.
If you travel a lot the first one mentioned is so much easier. I have got not more than about 340 hits and more than 60 of them are over 1000 km in distance. Still less than 10 of them are hits with over 1000 days in time span. None of them are both. Good to have some more goals. Just wait and see. All I have to do is to wait for triple hits. Long history in EBT (4 years in my case) gives you advantage in this.
This rather new one was close to 1000x1000:
http://en.eurobilltracker.com/notes/?id=35145191" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I checked the hits of this hit partner and noticed that we started the same year 2005 (2 hits that year for me, 4 for her/him) and it is not the question where you live but whether you have entered notes enough. He/she has got 4 more than 1000x1000 hits already and still they say Greece in an EBT desert.
The point is twofold I think. Firstly the more you enter in EBT the better chances you have, like his 258k compared to my 18+k. Secondly the note I got in Amsterdam would not survive a week for example in Finland as our banks are so eager to send all the worn notes to the Finnish Bank to be destroyed on behalf of the European Central Bank. Notes with lousy condition survive in Southern Europe and to some degree as well also in West and Central Europe but not in Northern Europe. We just don't use worn notes in Scandinavia. They are not non-existing but rare.
In addition to this it is always good to enter notes in a country with a big tourist industry. For example this note from Greece came to A'dam by a tourist - no doubt about it - as I got it at the reception of a hotel. If the person that took it there was a Greek or not is not that interesting. The point is there is a big flow of both Greek and for example of US tourists going from Greece to the Netherlands with pocket full of notes.

PS. On the Finnish forum we used to have a thread with a competition concerning days and kilometers put together. For example this hit would count as 1996km x 746 days = 1.489.016 points. Do you have the same kind of thread on your own national/language based forum?
