I received change last week and my eye caught the serial number. I got interested in the number system, googled a couple of hours, found this thread and forum, found Eurobill-Tracker... and I have to say I love it!
Created an account a couple of days ago and can't wait for my first hit
However, it seems I am a little late to the party.


The note that started it all for me:
WAxxxx000007 ... the nice thing is that this makes the vertical short serial number 000007

I don't have an interestingly numbered euro bill on hand right now, but I remember my son being quite amused by a bill (10€, if my memory is reliable) with 696969 in its serial number
