Has anybody else getting a database connection error when trying to access the forums? I had, but now everything seemed to be working allright, until I tried to edit a post (the Portuguese Top 50):

EDIT - Well, at least I managed to post this... Let's see if I can edit...

EDIT2 - Hmm... I'll try the PTop50 again.

I think there's still something not quite right. I get errors when trying to acces the posts since last visit

Most probably the database server at OVH can't keep up with the load. We'll be taking this into consideration.

I got this when I clicked on the Suspicious users thread on the EBT Users part of the forum. I then clicked "Back" on my browser, clicked again... and abracadabra, it worked...

So I'm not the only one...

Not for me, it hasn't. I spent half an hour getting "phpBB: Critical error, etc, etc..." So, that was why I posted a big cry for help...

I heard somebody calling my name??

The forum has been behaving terrible.. We have been put by OVH onto the MySQL-server for big databases as our DB had grown to 38,5MB. This server is sometimes heavily loaded as we can all experience.. I got the DB down to 33MB by clearing some data of the search tables and i asked OVH-support to put us back to the normal sql-server.

Meanwhile we are looking for another hosting-solution as the current solution has hit the limits and there is no room for growth anymore.

If you have any Private Messages that you don't need anymore, please delete those as they are taking space also on the DB.
